Hi,

Does anyone knows when the new Image series will reach our shores? Reason being, i'm scouting for new speakers for my new HT room and i dont know if i should get the t65 right now ??? Hmmmm

Dear CT Seong,

Thanks for your suggestion. However, Image T6 series will be launching new models end of this year and it looks more imrepssive. Do you think i should wait for it or just grab the current t65?

Appreciate your advice.

Hmm also dono consider urgent or not.. AVR currently sitting at my home without any speakers haha..

Lol...yeah same theory... But i prefer buying 1 item at a time so it wont strech my budget so much...

Thats weird bcos i called both IOI and Bangsar branch and they seem to say that the PSB t65 and Imagine series, and the G series are all at the show...

I called them on last thursday.. Hopefully to auditioned and catch the av fair promotion price instead.

I still dilema now whether to get the Image series as new speakers are coming out end of this year hmmm..

last time i audition the T65 (old version) very good but thing is must have big room or else it will sound very boomy.

I think it had 3 woofers in it..

Agree. In fact Dali looks quite impressive on paper cos of its ribbon tweeter (more details) but when auditioned it, it lacks the dynamics & punchy feeling as compared to PSB.

Was comparing between the Ikon & PSB Imagine series,

Well, not thinking of upgrading main speakers yet.

But yesterday not fully able to test Synchrony One since ROTF probably not the best material to test mains (but excellent for testing sub). Next time must play some concerts, since I think material that is optimised for stereo is best for testing main speakers.

Havign said that, i still puzzled why the Velo SPL 1200 can perform better yesterday @ Mr Ng's pad as compared to my place. Bass didnt sound so harsh and hard (fake) as compared to mine.

Like that die lor.. My bass so harsh and boomy.

Tested Knowing BD and my plaster ceiling nearly fall off the roof when the spaceship blast off the ground..

How to get rid, u also dont wanna buy from me hahaha...My WTS thread in Marketplace still no 1 hiu me leh..

I thought of it, but yestrday the SPL 1200 sealed sub @ Mr Ng's pad sounded 'more right' for me... Could it be the run in issue ah since its still new..
