but those TOC are usually so darn long. i don't think newbies (or myself) will even attempt to read them and probably click "yes" or "agree"

I know. But it is like a release waiver or something, once you clicked that checkbox and go in, and if you still dnt abide by the rules , you can be persecuted on the grounds of those rules you have just agreed on when you tick that checkbox.
So in this case, you need two things, a "forced reminder" and a strict enforcement of rules, a.k.a effective moderation.

QUOTE(kunamiya @ Aug 23 2008, 06:44 PM) I saw someone saying that , got software to make the aifon to send the files ? like sharing .. ? only through wifi at this moment. DropCopy, FileMagnet, etc etc. and many of them only support iPhone-to-Mac or iPhone-to-iPhone transfer. or use FTP client and access via SSH. Questions: 1. How long does it need to create an account in order to activate an unlocked 3G iPhone from HK?
2. Should I choose US?
3. The account that is to be created is iTunes Store Account?
Thanks in advance.

1. When you finish creating your iTunes account, you can activate your phone immediately.
2. Yes, you can. Purchase iTunes giftcards fro Giant Kelana Jaya and purchase AppStore apps.
3) Yes.

@Superman7 Please post your question in the relevant thread. Seems like you've been posting alot asking about the iPhone but in the wrong thread. To answer your Q:
1. Creating an account would take no more than 10 mins if you know what to do.
2. It's up to you to use which country but most of the apps in the iTunes AppStore are exclusively available to US store.
3. Yes, iTues Store Account.
As a bonus answer, u can activate any iPhone (either from HK,NZ,AUS,SING) with any iTunes account, no matter u register with US, UK, Japan, SG, Malaysia account, as long as you have a valid iTunes account.
Hope that can clear thing up.
p/s - please search in this sub-forum on how to create US iTunes acc, its been discussed already so you won't post another question that would be redundant.
