Hi ,anyone learn wing chun in Crush MMU ? location at dataran sunway, kota damansara . If yes , is the lesson great ? the sifu's background ?is the sifu friendly and patience person ?
It's Crush MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) bro, not Crush MMU. tongue.gif

And from the name, why don't you consider taking BJJ or MMA classes instead of Wing Chun. The instructor is a world champion grappler.

no black belt BJJ holder in msia?
Hey man, do you know that in the old days, it takes about 10-15 years to earn a black belt in BJJ? A blue belt in BJJ takes about 3 years and it's considered the equivalent of a BB in other more popular MAs like TKD or Karate.

So till today, they are only a handful of black belts in BJJ compare to the millions of black belts from other MAs all over the world.

Having said this, there so happen to be a BJJ black belt in Malaysia, but he's not Malaysian.

Check this out: http://escobarbjj.com/bio.php and he now teach in http://www.crushmma.com/

BJJ is also available in:

KDTA: http://www.kdta.com (where I train)

and

Ding Martial Arts Studio PJ: http://pjjiujitsu.blogspot.com/

PM me if you need any more info. Cheers! icon_rolleyes.gif

Hey people!

I currently moved to KL from Kuching to further my studies, I've been thinking of getting into a martial art and personally, I think Muay Thai looks pretty impressive. and violent.  tongue.gif

Could any of you recommend me some gyms or dojos for muay thai? It would be great if the gyms were around the PJ, Subang, Puchong or OUG areas. Oh yea. I'm looking for a gym that teaches traditional muay thai and not some McDojo that mixes all types of bollocks into kickboxing and calling it Muay Thai. thanks.
From what I've heard, Boxx Warrior is the real deal, but they train pro-fighters, so u better be fit before you even start. As for Jak, I've heard they do a lot of padworks, less or no sparring. So it's up to you to judge what's good for you.

If you do like sparring, come to KDTA, see my links below. We have a very well structured MMA program called CMDP, where we incorporate boxing, kicking, clinching and grappling exactly like the way MMA figthers train. And we spar a lot. So if that's your cup of tea, come on over. FYI, Adam Kayoom (Malaysia's only pro MMA figther and current Muay Thai world champ) trains here whenever he's in the country.

I'm not sure how authentic is the local Muay Thai scene. Generally people go to Thailand to train real Muay Thai. Try checking with the local champ Bernard Radin, http://www.bernardradin.com/ or Boxx Warriors http://boxxtomoi.blogspot.com/

All the best!

I'm currently learning Muay Thai over at Boxxwarriors Ampang and I was wondering whether they're any western Boxing clubs in the PJ/KL area ? I'm interested in checking out western Boxing during my upcoming holidays. (:

Hi guys, i'm looking for MMA classes in Kota Damansara. I'm a total beginner but i don't really know what other alternatives i have, since i've been reading the other posts that said Pure MMA classes don't exist here in malaysia. Any suggestions on what i can take up? I tried going to CrushMMA's website but it's down.

Thanks, jun smile.gif
