1st try not to bundle ur cable.. separate which one need, n not.. try to use as minimal (molex) connector as u can.. this will help make a few cable crossing ur casing.. brows.gif hidden where connector u not in use..

for ur 24pin connector, cant go behind back panel plate?

If your side panel do not have a window its better to bundle so as not to obstruct the air flow.

its the best if the 24 pins come behind the mobo tray to the mobo, and then sata, roll it like a spring and connect

i use molex for 2 items: DVDROM and intake fan. perhaps i should get myself a SATA DVDRW in the future. IDE cable is very hard to manage, luckily that mine is black

perhaps i should try detaching both side panels and try to arrange nicely when i am free next time. for now, as what tomatos said, just bundle them up to provide better airflow

i did hide the unused SATA connector behind 3.5" bays though, and ensure that the wires all be hidden as much as possible

and there is no hole for me to slip my connector through, i think thats the best solution for my 24-pin sad.gif

well i think the CM690 will have great cable management, since it has clips and hole beside the psu there for the wires~
how long is the length of mobo tray and the side panel cover?? coz i thought of hiding all wires behind mobo

24 pin cable routing perhaps could be done, but i afraid it might obstruct the airflow to the PSU (the fan is located at the bottom), but will try nonetheless, thanks !!!!

about the dvdrom part, i prefer to make it at the top, looks nicer from outside laugh.gif

@cyew86

u can bundle up 24 n 4/8pin together.. try to bend it, n follow till reach bottom of ur psu brows.gif

then when u lower ur dvd/cd rom, this will make space for ur bundle unused cable to rest ontop of it.. n u can bend ur ide nicely.. brows.gif

this is just my suggestion. biggrin.gif

@Koki
it depend on ur mobo (connector placing) n psu cable.. sometime u cant hidden all behind ur side panel biggrin.gif

Added on February 1, 2009, 3:45 pm@cyew86
then u need to buy long ide cable.. got 1 forumer sale it.. brows.gif

how come the Elite series is so bad for cable management??

@cyew86
lol tape ur 4pin mobo connector to the back there or just stick it on the top
as for the 24 pin, maybe tape on top, have a few turns and connect??

@sopen2003
i'm using the M3A78-EM
dual screen with only integrated graphics and doing great =D

i think the efficiency he said was about the CManagement la. not about the wattage.
