Hi fren, i would also appreciate if u don fully point fingers on me 4 this matter as i've enquired u 2 sketch/trace the outline of ur current transparent panel n send 2 me as i din hv stock 4 ur chassis model - Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570 at that moment. U told me u r not good in sketching n avoided doing so. Then i explained 2 u that u only need 2 remove the panel from ur chassis n put it on a piece of paper, then use pen or pencil 2 just trace the outline n screw holes position 4 me. I truly believe that this is an easy task in which a kid can do, so i did not worry about u refusing 2 co-operate with me on this need. I asked u to send the scanned outline 2 me or post 2 me as i gave u my address. I was asking u 2 do so because i wanted 2 design the cutting procedure in order 2 come out with a new panel which is of the same size n shape as ur current one so that it fits perfectly well 4 ur chassis. After explaining 2 u n telling u the essential need of ur sketch, u promised that u would do it n send 2 me on the next day as u were too tired on the day i requested. I said ok n i was looking forward 2 ur sketch.
I was waiting n waiting n waiting... Then after 1 week, u told me about the difference in thickness n u could not remove the panel 2 do the sketch/trace. I even told u if u realy din wan 2 remove the panel, it's fine, just sketch using the mesh panel as the dimension is the same. Just sketch from either the transparent or mesh panel that came with ur chassis. U couldn't b possibly installing 2 panels on 1 chassis. I never ask about thickness as this is not an issue 4 my works. The NuclearTec acrylic panel's thickness is already fixed.
After not being able 2 receive any sketch/trace n indication of size n dimension from u after waiting for 1 week, i decided 2 take in stock for this chassis from my supplier side just 2 sketch n measure the panel n complete the acrylic cutting works 4 u. It was out of my good intention of not wanting 2 let u wait 4 too long. When i placed order 4 the chassis, i stil asked 4 ur sketch as i thought u shud b providing me the necessary info as requested. After the chassis arrived, i did the sketch n measurement, n came up with the design. Again, I was stil waiting 4 ur sketch but with the excuse of not being able 2 sketch, u did not provide me any useful info. Instead, u kept on repeating ur chassis model in which i already knew n gave me links. Those links r useless 4 my works as they r just showing the image n specification of the chassis without any clear info on the side panel that i need.
So after not getting the sketch n measurement from u n in order not 2 waste anymore time waiting 4 something that possibly won't arrive, i cut the acrylic panel according 2 the exact dimension of the Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570's transparent side panel that i had. I even tried it on the chassis n it fitted well, with screw holes well aligned as per my sketch n measurement. I can confidently say that i've followed the exact model that u've given me, but there is no specification requirements from ur side as per ur query below. The wording 'specification' appears at least 3 times in ur query below but there was no specification details given by ur side. I presume u understand giving me the chassis model is not equivalent 2 giving me specification requirements. Specification requirements should refer 2:
1. The exact shape, size, dimension/measurement of the panel on a simple sketch/trace - not given by u as requested
2. Thickness of the NuclearTec acrylic panel which is indicated clearly on my thread n pm as 3mm - we r both aware of this so i din ask u 4 any thickness requirement
3. Image of the design/logo u wan me 2 engrave on the panel - OK, u provided the picture 2 me as requested n i appreciate it
With insufficient info from ur side although i've asked 4 several times, i was stil 100% dedicated in doing the cutting n engraving 4 u. So finaly i did the works n informed u that i've done it based on the dimension of the chassis that i had, I then sent the cut n engraved panel 2 u, expecting that u would b very happy when receiving n installing it. Unfortunately, u received it n was happy at the 1st instance, then told me that it couldnt fit ur chassis. I was shocked when hearing this n advised u 2 try again as there might b possibility of mis-installation. U did not respond after that so i thought the mis-installation problem had been resolved by u. After 1 week, u tell me again that it cant fit n email me the pictures. Now the only reason that i can think of 4 this issue is, different batch of stocks 4 the same chassis model might hv slightly different side panel dimension. I'm sure u r intelligent enough 2 b aware that i would not purposely cut the panel 2 some sizes n shapes that cant fit in ur chassis.
For something like this 2 work well without any discrepancy, co-operation from both sides is very important. Im feeling proud 2 say that i've done my part 2 the best extent i can, n hope that u won't push the whole responsibility of ur side not providing me necessary info 2 me as my fault.
It is not out of my intention 2 relate cost n price with this issue. I was just telling u some truths as below:
1. We purposely took in stock 4 this chassis then sold it @ low price after doing the measurement n sketch - just 2 show u how dedicated i was in doing the works
2. I did not ask u 2 top up the missing cost i quoted 4 the cutting service (worth RM30) after u banked in. I did not ask 4 as i think it was my mistake of missing out the item
I told u the above 2 truths just 2 let u know my sincerity n dedication 4 this deal. I appreciate if u do not relate this with the problem arose. Thank you.
Our offer for u now is as what i've offered - to do the cutting n engraving 4 u again, with u providing us the necessary info as requested n u bearing part of the cost (with some discount 2 show our sign of sincerity n regret 4 this issue). With this, I think we r being reasonable n responsible. Again, i highly appreciate if u do not push the whole responsibility n blame 2 my side. Thank you very much.

there were no instances whatsoever that you have indicated you were having difficulties or problems in reproducing the panel as per my requirements. instead during our phone conversation i enquired how did you manage to do the measurement and you had indicated that you had purchased the same model which was as my specification requirements.
my reply to your second paragraph.in response to my costing enquiry on march 15th 2009, you had given me the detailed breakdown of the costing in your reply of even date. thus, based on that, no further issue on costing should arise. i did appreciate and acknowledge your good work on the logo as per my pm dated march 30th 2009 and thus had awaited for the delivery of the panel as per my specification but unfortunately and regretfully the panel i received was not in accordance to my requirement. i believed, had you followed the exact specification as per model given, the need to be scolded by your partner and unnecessary expenses and time wasted would not have arose. your sincerity and seriousness in handling my order is truly appreciated but unfortunately a wrong delivery is still a wrong delivery.
my reply to your third paragraph.i had indicated in my earlier pm that i was not good in sketching and had problem in tracing the side panel. i had also pointed out to you "
the side panel kinda have two layers, with the inside part is slightly thicker than the outside layer". thus, you should have followed the model reference given to you in my earlier pm or indicate that you are unable to do it instead of remaining silent on this matter and asking me where to place the logo instead.
since the error is through no fault of mine, and to resolve the matter, i am fully prepared to return the wrongly designed panel (which i have fully paid for) together with my original plexi glass side window to enable you to redo the panel in accordance to my requirement at no further cost. once completed, please return to me my original plexi glass side window together with the correctly design panel.
for our mutual benefit and future dealings, i would appreciate your confirmation on the above.
