1-1.5ft when adult. AFS actually don't move much. My AFS back then, Clip, used to be in the same position, under the log, EVERYDAY.

Yeah, passed away just a few weeks ago. Sigh... The fella just resurfaces whenever it wants to eat.
My bf and I kinda dried it after it died and used it as decoration in my bf's room. Look so much like it was alive. @Neshie: Keep it under the bed or in your cupboard la. Hehe... I'm planning to keep mine near my com in my com room. Nobody will notice. Hehe... This post has been edited by Jamien: Aug 20 2008, 09:32 PM |

Wahahaha. If you really got then bring la! Ryo will sponsor battery!! Hahahaha. Anyway, I agree wif neshie. most typical chinese families don't like poisonous or dangerous pets. Which is why there was a lil problem when my old AFS got discovered and also when we brought our ally snapper home.
Ryo, I know one place where I can keep and you cannot check. @Andernya: Ryo's room is actually quite tiny. After his bed, only left 1 narrow space to put his table and laptop. And yeah, AFFS can hold. Their poison is just really painful when stung, provided you are not allgergic, it can't kill you. Ad AFS like to pinch with their pincers rather than sting. |

Dumbo, expert, they are both eye openers and a good experience.
Nez, just keep in your cupboard. I'm sure your dad won't check there. My AFS used to live in the cupboard. |

Ryo is self promoting. Everyone look away!
Anyway nez, last time I keep in the cupboard. It survived just fine inside for 2 years. We only open the cupboard when we wanted to see it or was feeding it or misting it. Basically want or need. Otherwise it stays inside no probs. The room was air conditioned also. But in the cupboard remain quite warm. Cupboard will be ok. |

QUOTE(neshie @ Aug 20 2008, 10:51 PM) Ventilation is when we open the cupboard lo. We stick a thermometer in the tank I used to keep Clip in just in case it was too warm or too cold but it was always in the right temperature zone. As long as we don't leave the cupboard door open too long when the air cond was on. |

Whenever I hear people talking about bugs, it could mean spiders or the like. Guy: That bug is poisonous ok. Becareful. Me: What bug? *looking everywhere but the scorpion* Guy: That scorpion la. Me: =.=" Scorpions are anthropods. They're not insects. Guy: Still a bug la. How you wanna teach a guy like that? That was a real conversation. |
