Sammy's been starving for 3 weeks o. I feel exceptionally worried that she will die of starvation before 1 week. But if like that I will try my best to wait for 4 more days. thumbup.gif

sweat.gif Bartbarb, did you know that if mealies get too much moisture from their surrounding they will die? My experience with mealies for the first time was like that. We thought they will be thirsty so we sprinkle some drops of water on the mealies. The next day, half our mealie population turn black and kaput liao.

smile.gif Your mealies get their moisture from their food. Just feed them fruits and vege for moisture. Remove if uneaten for 24 hours or it'll smell like a junk yard cuz the vegetables will rot.

You mean maggots? Worms that crawl out of the body when something dies?

biggrin.gif Thanks~

Nope. Honestly their feeding time is very irregular. sometimes once in 2 days, sometimes once in 3, occasionally once in 4. But 2 and 3 is more often la. hmm.gif But Timmy always attacks his food like so hungry like that even within 2 days feeding gap. So I was surprised he refuse food for 4 days.

Lol, Jamien would have been appreciative if you informed her about power feeding so she can expect a molt this soon.

I asked you when they will moult again and you say "not so soon la". shakehead.gif

Sammy is still 3rd instar. hmm.gif I always wondered why Timmy was so much bigger and fatter than Sammy.
