if you want then you can find a glass tank with custom plastic cover. the glass tank just have to a a bit taller. no cover also nvm, as scorps cant climb walls.

s98432512: you can try exo terra glass tanks those tall ones for a colony of aboreal scorpions if you want. AFS, dont bother to have anice display tank because most of them would just hide.

not really. the point is, why risk being stung when the need is not there?
there's a lot of justification on why scorpions should be handled. but IMHO its because of the "cool" factor. and if its because of the "cool" factor, i'ed suggest that you dont keep scorpions. PS: happy new year guys! This post has been edited by TAGreptiles: Jan 21 2009, 09:33 AM |

QUOTE(rafiqos @ Jan 23 2009, 12:51 PM) Key to squabbles and cannibalism in AFS is food. Tackle food and you most probably will have a successful communal setup right from the early instars. *meleleh air liur*![]() After moult pic. QUOTE(rideon @ Jan 26 2009, 05:12 PM) yeah i know... we all do have our daily routine.. just imforming thats all.. can't wait though...cheers again.. you can line gravel at the bottom of the tank then put a layer of peat ON the gravel. then you can flood the tank, water would seep and be retained inside the gravel, under the peat. thus humidity can be retained longer. Added on January 26, 2009, 5:17 pmjust wondering... can u mix coco peat with gravel??the one they used on aquariums..coz i place one side with gravel and others cocopeat.. one other thing.. im not sure whether my scorp is pregnant but her behaviour are not normal.. shes been hiding like 24hours now.. nvr comes out. is this one of the symtoms that she'll give birth or sumin.. Thanks in advance to all you pros... |

what what? answer what? where to get gambir?
Allergy to stings? When you get tagged you'll know. Trust me. I'm allergic to stuff like bees and wasps. Even 2cm honey bee also must go for shot. So far after i knew i was allergic to bee venom, i got stung twice, once by a wasp, once by a honey bee. Both produced the same allergic reaction. (bumps on my whole body, high fever, nausea, and headach, kinda like a super bad hangover with rash and reaction all over your body XD) So that kinda puts off what the doctor told me the first time i got stung. Doc: This is a one time thing, after this you'll be immune. After that i saw him another 2 times |
