ahh i lazy feed cricket d..... all die wif donno wat sort of reason and soo smelly, wonderin can i jus feed mature scorpion wif worms?? will they eat?/ full enuf for them?
*
U can try superworms, put them in between their claw and let them hold it and eat straight away
If u throw in they will either ignore it or the worm burrow in the substrate

hi

i do have the same problem too... o believe is due to the humility... too wet .. cos the crickets to die.. then decompose / rot and have a foul smell...

i dont dare to put them in vase anymore coz they escaped and killed by my house cleaning lady. doh.gif

Breed like crazy?
Their gestation period is around 8-12months old

Direct sunlight shld be ok as long as they have hide or enuff substrate to burrow
But be aware of the drastic fall of humidity

QUOTE(yhuii @ Jan 19 2009, 08:43 PM)
how to breed mealworms?need what preparation?
thx wink.gif  wink.gif  wink.gif

When ur mealworm are old enuff they ll turn2 pupae
As soon as u found some pupae in ur container u shld immediately separate them into a container with good ventilation (I prefer no lid)
Wait 2week and they will turn into beetle, put all the beetle in another container with organic oats as bedding and feed some vege and fruit once a week
Around 1month later u ll get small babies mealworm, but they are really really tiny, u nid2 really concentrate to find them lol

ic ic, i dont know much about scorpion 1, i caught them from my house garden under those big stone, so i keep them as pet last time in my big vase, last year i moved them to glass tank. i saw in the previous page there is 1 with very light color 1, unlike my AFS black body. how much they sell those in shop? thanks
their tail very long, its like almost the same length as the body and front. its huge, i feed them with all sort of insect but mainly mealworm, but they only eat them once in a while although i put the whole plate in the tank.
*

Swt u can try feeding them everyday and make them fat
Until a certain limit they will stop eating
Tat is wat we call as power feed
But the fatter ur scorp, the more fragile they are
Mine was actually bleeding at the abdomen due to a slight fall in its own tank sweat.gif
