@ davidgary73 thanks for replying so promptly. yeah i know about the existence of that method; used to do that for my psp. anyway, remember about my unlucky xp encounter? i can't afford to synchronise my iphone yet as i'm still trying to retrieve a lot of the pictures inside. if i do synchronise, everything inside here will be automatically be erased. couldn't even start up and even attempted to load up as an external hard drive. both failed. as a result of that, had to do a clean restore alongside with my data.

no more. but since this is a fresh xp copy and if i attempt to synchronise my iphone with itunes, obviously everything will be gone.
