What's new?

-Many visual enhancements and fixes in regards to source and packages display.
-Fixed an issue with failing installs with dependencies under some circumstances.
-Fixed a bug causing package information to be displayed incorrectly (size 0 bytes) on the first access, or when the custom information HTML page (such as packages from -Big Boss' repository) was not displayed.
-When updating a package, and one of its dependencies also has an update available, the dependency will be updated as well.
-The package icons will only be downloaded when on the Wi-Fi to help you save on bandwidth.
-The repositories are being refreshed upon Installer.app launch so you always stay on the bleeding edge with the updates. This is exeperimental behavior and we're not yet sure it will make it to the final release.
-Fixed a script command Confirm that was returning invalid button index for the "OK" button.
-Lots and lots of both cosmetic and internal application core fixes that improve the overall performance, presentation and stability of the application.
-Meanwhile, we have also took the opportunity and updated Community Sources package. It now includes a repository for modmyifone.com (which needs no introduction, imho), and iphone-notes.de that has BSD Subsystem and OpenSSH, as well as numerous carrier bundles and other useful stuff.

Very buggy compared to the 4.0b4 ... hang here and there.

Ya..notice it too. Not a very good update.

i stick with cydia for the time being...

since RiPDev took over installer ... all hell broke loose. They seems to make things difficult with the new installer.

cydia + appstore = match combination.. lol

New updates on BossPrefs via Cydia.

Installer 4 v4.0b5-4 is pretty buggy. Would recommend not updating it as of yet. Do install BossPrefs and enable bossprefs to double tap home and if you have installed installer 4 and if it hangs, just double tap your home button. That will bring u back to your home screen.

yeahh becoz the installer kinda slow progress & release pretty long awaited, yet still buggy

i can live happily w/out installer now.. fully depend on cydia & appstore

hey is winterboard works like summerboard?
it can support summerboard theme?

Summerboard themes works great with winterboard.

You can SSH or use iphonebrowser, DiskAid to send your themes to the phone and place your themes at

root/Library/ Themes/

I believe that every link is working real well. Just insert it in the source panel in cydia. It will automatically refresh, n later u will see more apps available

You are not meant to use it outside cydia

The sources for Cydia and Installer 4 are not web links. You're suppose to add them in Cydia and i4

Launch Cydia. Under manage, click sources and add the sources posted here by clicking edit(top right). Then press add on the left top screen and type the address. Click add source when finish. It will start download and it will be added to you Cydia source.

Installer 4, click sources and press edit. Press + to add the installer sources.

Other Apps
1) MiVTones
2) Customize and Intelliscreen (careful as some has to restore thier iphones after installing)
3) FlashLight
4) Wifi Toggle
5) AppFlow

There are more apps coming but gotta wait till they are ported to 2.0.1.

Insufficient Permissions

Installer was not installed correctly.It should be run as root:wheel.
We will continue but please remember that it may not function correctly.
