ZodTTD release vlc4iphone 1.6.1

ZodTTD has finally released the first public version of vlc4iphone, as you know I had the opportunity to try all the different beta in the past and there are many posts that the testimony. It is an application with enormous potential but is not expressed at the highest levels.

The same ZodTTD admits that in terms of performance, its application can not stand the comparison with mplayer. But obviously there are many additional functions that we do not find in other players, such as the possibility of obtaining a streaming video (like TV) and audio from a computer all'iPhone, and also the opportunity to listen to Internet radio.

Recall that the main purpose of vlc4iphone is to play any type of media file (almost all extensions), and it is in the process of decoding, that the settings for quality, are lowered. ZodTTD recommends using video with a resolution of 320 x 240 for not much more than compromising picture quality. Cydia vlc4iphone found in the repository of Zod, which is pre-set default within the community sources.

*Not sure how good is this but worth a try.

dont know whether cydia able to make use of the bluetooth? by transfering file?

but i dont know how to ssh at the moment and i don hav mobile terminal inside my phone.
cant open cydia and cant find it in installer. only got open ssh installed.

so i guess i will just follow the guide to restore and restore it 1st. and thanks again. will do research further more on this mobile terminal after i restore.

Ok, once u have open ssh installed then u can ssh into your iphone using WinSCP. It is a free program, just google for it and download it. SSH to ur iphone using username: root and password: alpine

Shitty Installer just gave me a heart attack. I went against my good judgment and press the update button when it prompted Installer got a new update. It got stuck at the spinning wheel for like 15mins after pressing the home button and I reboot the phone after that. Now stuck at the apple logo. DAMN ... don't tell me I have to restore back. Countless effort trying to connect with SSH or iFunBox but failed. I was sweating in the office aircond. Then I just leave it be and after 30mins it came back to life.

Moral of the story : Stay as far as possible from the DAMN Installer.

Damn..that's scary man. Installer 4 is getting worst on every updates.

I gues is time to stop updating i4 on this thread as it has proven to be useless and hazardeous for many users.
