base on manga with the same title. well, which i recently found out that the artist started of as doujin-ka majorly doin Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime related stuff. so u might recognize the art of it, but i will leave the manga detail as this is bout the anime. its schedule to be aired in october (iinm) so another 2 months to go. n stormy say that, ppl here in /as/ wont be able to accept the death of kitty in the manga story (if they include it in the anime).

neway, the story bout Jin, n Nagi, the guardian deity borned from the wood of sacred tree which crafted by Jin into person, n that how she was materialize as how she is. of coz in every harem, there will be childhood friend, Tsugumi. n Nagi's sister with better bust size Hakua/Zange (well Nagi is no boobs girl). i wont spoil u with Hakua/Zange with why she has 2 names.

I am more interested to if this series can be Kyoto Animation biggest nightmare, since it is directed by Yamakan who was fired after 4 episodes of Lucky Star directing job.

My view on this in more specific form

The manga has nice crispy art, it does have some serious drama moment.

I still don't get why he's fired though. Apparently he didn't want to insert all those kadokawa shouten and comp ace product placements or something which the new director did?

Well whatever the reason kyoani still lives with or without Yamakan. They have a talented crew and its not just the Haruhi crew they have. They got the FMP ppl and the KEY people to make Haruhi 2/Zero work.

Episode 2 is epic. Anyone notice the animation is so detail that the hand movement looks awesome to be look at. Can even surpass Suzumiya Haruhi animation for hand movement. lol. Really enjoy the opening song alot and even rip the TV version for my ringtone now. lolx

There was one part that Jin's friend's voice when she spoke, the mouth animtion doesn't really coincide with the voice.

You want hand movement, watch Clannad After Story la.
Looks like 2D but its actually 3D for the mecha and the girl.

some of the hand movement, are done in 3D, most noticable one is the when Haruhi playing guitar part. believe me, something that move that smooth are done by 3D to get accurate movement plus angle. n bout Clannad after story, there is indication the girl (the robot n girl alone in some place thingie) are done in 3D.

this is how i define good 3D usage in 2d animation, they use em n u hardly notice its actually 3D.
