I don't think Iphone 2g is GPS enable bro..

just to share some experience..(all done with winpwn 2.0.0.4.)

try to upgrade from 2.0 to 2.0.1.
first try (partition 602mb) after dfu mode..got error 6 at itunes.
second try (partition 750mb) winpwn crash while building custom ipsw file.
3rd try (partition 512mb) succesfully done 2.0.1.

p/s : read from sleeper.net that if got error 6 from itunes, its about root partition.n some said n lots agree that setting the partition to sumthing that can be divide by 8 is the solution. (i try n i succeed).

alright.. first time jailbreaker here.. going to use winpwn 2.0.0.4 tonight and i have a few 'noob' questions.. please help..

1. tried to backup my data using iphonebrowser for windows but can't seem to find the folders.. any advise?
2. do we check or uncheck the you tube activision fix?
3. since we're using local telco providers, do we check the activate phone box in advanced tab?
4. i've my unlocked iphone 1.1.4 fw, so do i need to unlock again with bootloader 3.9/4.6 with winpwn?

@ frozzbyte - thanks, man. so after i installed the ZiPhone iBrickr, i can see all my folders from iphonebrowser? if yes, that'll be great    as for the unlocking part, i need to use bootneuter to unlock it? im confused with this part coz don't we need unlocked phones to use the functions? it can't read our local sim cards if its unlocked right?
