Example in Malaysia , you earn RM2k, food is around RM4~6 per meal. In Singapore you earn SGD2k, one meal around SGD3~5.
Other daily used products such as soap, toothpaste, etc....all also cheaper, if you don't convert la. Levis jeans cost less than SGD100. In malaysia u earn 2k and levis jeans nearly RM200.
However other 'services' and entertainment places will cost more. Nice and decent restaurants really cost hell alot more even without the conversion.
Hmm..other than that, a room in SG is really cost a lot, and transportation expenses will be quite high and compulsory. The last i heard was around SGD400 for one single room. Well this also depends on which area you are. And they are very strict to overnight visitors. hahaha...
Well in terms of saving money, that depends on your priorities.
Just for thoughts, if you will earn the same ammount in Msia and Sg (RM2k in Malaysia and SGD2k in SG), and you can save 10% of your earnings. At the end of the day, which will be better?
However this really depends on your nature of work. If your work is does not require 'networking/socialing' activities, then you still can consider travelling JB-SG everyday.
Just oppinion, feel free to comment.
