Hi,

I would like to analyse the bandwidth usage by each of the PC in LAN. Any recommended software?

P/S: All the internet connections go tru the router.

i'm oso search for this kind of software long time ago,
but still cant found a good analysis software.

unless u got access to all the pc on the network...u can try networkmagic...or one of its brothers....but it requires u to install it on all the pc first....

these kind of softwares are hard to do/find...because...each pc goes to a different port so unless the software can access and instruct the router to provide or collect such information...it is impossible to do...

if using ddwrt firmware...rflow collactor can do the job i think...have to enable rflow on the router to which lan ip 1st...

U mean solarwinds software right? Their software damn good, unfortunately its more businesses and it cost a bomb, USD 2700 for their orion network software. But its very comprehensive since it looks true nearly all network layers.

I can even check your PC stats using the orion, not to mention what applications are being used on a computer over network to connect to the net and what protocols are being used.
