Hi all, I am new and trying to pick up this hobby and slowly learn. I bought this tiny bonsai 3 months ago, and now it has grows out of shape, but I am not sure what to do next. What I did in the past months, is just changing to a bigger pot, with holes underneath for the water to flow. And water it every 2-3 days. I do not dare to start trimming(right term?) because afraid if I did not do it correctly might get the branches infected, or worse Dead. Any basic advice can share with me? If I decided to cut off all the leafs (botak), will it be ok? And for the copper wires, they are shaped by the shop when I first bought it... Any idea when do I need to redo the wire myself? I don't know anyone or friends who interested in bonsai, so I have to find out myself and hopefully learn a few things from master sifus here. Thank you all. MAY 2015 JULY 2015

QUOTE(Bonsailelong @ Jul 17 2015, 06:59 PM) My opinion. Don't put any stone or heavy object in the pot because their weight is compressing the soil. Do not defoliate at this stage because the leaves are still fresh and new. let the flowers bloom and over before defoliation. You are welcome to add to my facebook : Bonsailelong ok ok.. I'll just leave it keep it grow.. by the way any idea what tree is this?
