MY school start using primacolor marker , i like to know where can i get the suppliers of the primacolor marker?

what are they best used for?

they are suitable on marker paper.

they are usually known as rendering marker.

one advantage it has over normal markers is, their colors are blendable.

so being a poor visualizer before, i took my studio managers advice of "you do not need to buy the whole range, just get the primary colors and mix it from there"

so yeah, no need to buy a whole stack of them. just get the primary colors.

whole set is 100+ colors, usually student from the one academy choose 50 colors only.

There is an art shop (shop lot) in bandar sunway behind my college, The One Academy which sells them for rm6 each.

but the pantone markers for skin is no longer in stock ):

The old limkokwing building has an art art shop which sells them too for around the same price. (shop lot also)

You can buy the basic colours and as you need only then you buy the extra colours for a wider range cause it can be very expensive if you buy all one shot T^T

Go to Wins Art Shop near the old Lim Kok Wing building, Taman Mayang.

You can get a student price there as well. Just remember to wear your tag.

these markers work best on textured paper. and create awesome effect when u mix with pencil colors, especially prismacolor pencil colours. when i 1st used them together, i was so happy to see the effects

yeah this shop hv good prices. got kurecolor too..n kurecolor they got refill accessories.. can easily refill them..but i wonder if prismacolor hv refill oso..i want them..do someone know?

primacolor marker cannot refill.

so thats the drawback. from the day i bought my markers i pray that it can be refilled like kurecolor. but i guess da answer is definitely no. gaaah i still cant accept this it will be more convenient if it can be refilled..waa

kurecolor marker is the best,u can refill and mix the color with blender..
quite pricey but here in sarawak they sale rm9.80 each for student price.. im kurecolor user

Went to Vision Art today and was served by frankie wife(I assumed). Two thumbs up on her politeness and service. Not to mentioned the price she offered is even cheaper than my in-house art shop either.

Definitely recommended.
