I'm planning to get a Nintendo Wii at the end of the year (school holidays), but I have a really old TV, hearing that things like PS3 needs a plasma TV to play, so I'm wondering if a non flat screen tv is able to play the Wii?? I don't want to make mistakes buying it and cannot play. I'm not that rich, so I'm actually saving money for the Wii, and I can't call my dad to buy a new TV... So?? please help me on some compatible TVs, before that, tell me the tv i specified is compatible or not first??
Well, there's nothing wrong with playing Wii on old TV. Unless you want to play Wii games on your LCD Monitor, then use a tvbox, hook it up to your lcd monitor.Clicky on my signature!
Damn i'm doing this too much.
But anyway, a non-flat screen works just like a flat screen. There is no tv that is not compatible with the Wii, mi breda. Unless you're playing on a 15", then it's a different story.
General conclusion
Wii = fat tv friendly
