Hmmm anyway is a cheap plastic afterall come on is just a phone... Don u feel pathetic of taking so much care and end of day u found there are scratch? Now my phone full of invisible scratch even i don use any cloth to wipe. Nokia suck hard on the material use this time.

n82 is long ..not so great for jeans... n95 8gb is thick..no so great for tight jeans...

what is the lowest price i can get for n95 8gb and n82? lowesttt
*
hmmm ok la if u wear jeans leh. Ok first talk bout making comparison with this two phone ok? If u wear jeans N82 will be fine wont be too bulky furthermore is thinner compare with N73 which has the merely the same size with it. If u prefer all round N95 8GB will be ideal, but if u like to take good snap photo under dim light condition definately N82 as it has xenon flash light. In day light both perform the same quality image. N82 look like taking a better image is because the screen size somehow 2.4 with 230x320 and 2.8 with 230x320 resolution. In this case surely the smaller size of the screen gives better image as it compress the pixel. So i cant really agree N82 gives better image. If dim light condition i totally agree. In terms of memory N95 8GB has faster transfer rate as it is build in as for N82 to get faster transfer rate u need to discard the memory card and use card reader if u use phone transfer mode it will be slower abit. For the time being N82 cant really take up to 16GB as the new update just give support to 8GB. O yeah in terms of memory card don waste so much money on the memory card classes as all perform quite identical in this phone. Now i m using 8GB class 2 which i find is good no lags no nothing on the phone.

Anyway i got question, when u type message with the phone have u find and slowdown.

i dont mind candybar or slider design, but from your opinion, which is a better design?

n82- best cameraphone, got xenon flash. got TIPA award.
n95 8gb- large screen, loud speakers

in terms of performance, which is better/faster?
gps lock time which is better?
in terms of body material and build which is better?

shuyin1946 said the n95 8gb has better quality build.

In terms of speed N95 has abit more ram which is 128MB ram and N82 has 120MB ram .GPS lock time is all the same and speaker used is also the same. Material sure N95 8GB which don have noticable gaps. Just that u need to be aware of the slider mechanism.

Hi, I'm back!. I've got a question to ask. Does aluminium looking bit surrounding the camera lens peel? The aluminium on mine is peeling. I don't know why. I keep it separately in the pocket on its own, without any other items.
*
This is due to oxidise problem where the paint is expose to the condensation of sweat underneath your skin in your pocket. Especially your jeans. However this is not under nokia warrenty as they dont cover cosmetic wear.

It happened to mine in the N95 style leather pouch. sad.gif

Yeah somehow is a poor intact from manufacturer. I think u can go nokia care centre and buy the part and replace yourself just that it wont be cheap. If u know how to replace yourself go ahead u save service fee.

I have to agree with you that quality is starting to drop on newer phones. Do they sell it separately from the whole housing? I'm not so sure if they do.
*
yeah they did sell seperately u can make request with them but a reminder wont be very cheap and u add 50 ringgit they change the housing for u. If not mistaken to change whole housing the cost wont be less than 300 ringgit if u wan original. In this case u can also make request to change to black housing hehe.

May go ask them and see. I know Nokia stuff ain't cheap. If it is too unreasonable may just get one of those aftermarket housings but use the aluminium tthingy to replace the current one. Black housing? Don't need to ask them to change, as my phone came in black tongue.gif
*
Hmm the aftermarket thinggy got quality or not? Too bad here is not china lol can get surplus from the factory mayb.

Not so sure about their quality.. but if it's like RM100+ for just that piece of brushed aluminium painted plastic, it's really not worth it.
*
Wont be so expensive la the most 50 plus.

i dont mind that the n82 is a finger print magnet, but i'm just worried that the n82 body is not up to expectations.

Will it discolor or peel off like n76?

From what i read thus far, the n95 8gb is better build right?
*
Buddy if u keep on judging this way i think u wont manage to make your decision. As if u will use the phone till you RIP. sweat.gif Relax la just buy and use.

yea i noe
ram diff between n82 and n95 8gb not tat big

This depends on the buyer itself but somehow i see lots of ppl go for N82 as it is cheaper and gives the same goodies as N95 8GB give. Just the problem is the keypad which i find myself N95 8GB is nicer to press hehe.
