Have been using my N82 since Jan, never had a hardware problem, mostly just 3rd party application hang eg. games, freeware. I didn't use any screen protector or any silicon/plastic cover for my phone also. Just got the stock screen film and bought a black Nokia phone poach for it. Which is all I need. Got some tiny scratches on the screen film though. No color fading or skin peeling even with sweating hands, considering my usage is quite high (daily min 1~2 hours on the phone).   Think the size of it is much compact compared to N95 and it's much much faster than N95 as well. So really suggest get N82 if still deciding between N82 or N95.

Btw guys, ever since i use 8gb microSDCH, i feel my camera is SUPER SLOW

after i take 2nd picture onward, the Proccessing Image will take up to 15~20 seconds. Normally it took 5 second only ...

Its been for almost 2 week but i tried everything prob still persist

My microSD only utilise about 35% only

yesterday i was playing my friends n95 8gb n-gage games...the graphic is better than my n82..any idea why?

My phone froze for the first time since I bought it late May. I had just downloaded a large file from email (5MB+), then listening to music while chatting on ebuddy. The freezing happened when I wanted to switch task from music player to ebuddy. I tried to reset the phone by using the power button without success. The screen just turned brighter but still showing the freezing screen. So had to resort to pulling out the battery.

One thing I don't like about N82 is the tight battery compartment and the slippery back. Tried a few times without avail so I went to fiddle with the manual in case I was doing anything wrong.

My phone was on the table when I was going through the manual. Then suddenly the screen turned black and the phone reset itself. What a relief! :-D Everything is fine now. Anyone had a similar experience? Btw, this is posted from my beloved phone ;-)

Last time I tested how long my phone's battery can last with "normal" usage. Such as:
- few calls a day
- some sms a day
- take a few pics, no flash
- less than 30mins wifi a day
- pda functions like calendar and notepad

In short, not intentionally playing with the phone. Was a hard test because it's hard to put this baby down! :-D Anyway, the battery lasted a good 5 days! I was impressed :-)

ermm , between N82 and N85 which more ok ? in terms of performance and whatsoever .. or i might wait N79 ?

Guys, is there any software for n82 that can backup our sms?

I think Nokia Suite can be used to backup sms.
Special screen protector to cover the phone body. Practical yet not ugly.
