I have been using Checker Plate Bag to protect my laptop for 3 months.
The condition of the bag still Good except it look abit dirty.

I was suprised when i saw your thread because your problem doesnt seems happen on my bag.
As you said the metal support structure at the bottom left came out and damaged your shirt after it used for one month, but i don't see this problem happen on me anyway.
Em, maybe because of the way you take care of your bag ?

How come a bag will weights like a rock without the laptop ?
It doesn't make any sense at all.
In every purchase of bag, i believed that you will be given chance to test and touch the bag before you pay the money.
If the bag happened to be heavy like rock, I don't think you will buy it.
Isn't it ?
The thing is, have you ever own a checker plate for yourself ?
In my point of view, checker plate provides a comfortable cushion when i carry it.
Well, undeniable, it might differs to others.

I'm not here to praise or promote checker plate bag,
it is just an opinion from a checker plate's user.

You know how much margin you can earn by selling Checker plate ?
I knw it from one of fren who sell bag.
Well, cant say out the cost of each check plate here >< sry

The thing is,
The cost for each unit = unexpected low !
Therefore, they are trying to push checker plate instead of selling other bag inorder to gain more profit.
We can't blaim Thunder match for selling the bag,
because it's the nature of a business to make money

Actually it depands on user itself, depands on how you take good care of your bag also.
Well, mine still good condition so far
