I am a hardcore gamer, and I am using Vista, and I even got better FPS on some games using vista. Your point of not using it when you yourself never even installed it is not valid.

A high end computer can offset the downsides of Vista, but for poor people like myself, Vista requires too much of my limited resources. For others it is the same. The fact is that Vista requires nearly 10x more processes to operate and far more hard disk space than XP.

I suppose my hardware is still a little weak for vista I guess. Will get a new rig on september anyway. I did close the sidebar too, in fact its not even on. Well I suppose I can handle low fps on games for 2 weeks.

Hmm wait, need to close sidebar? My fps fluctuates damn much, very often go down to ~10

The sidebar eats up too much of my resources. I close mine all the time.
