"In the history of the game, there's not a single player in the world who has not tasted defeat on the field. However, the best players will give everything they've got to stand up again. Ordinary players take a while to get back on their foot. While losers will remain flat on the ground." - Darrell Royal, former American football player and coach.

House break-in next to my house today. Earlier, I heard people calling out next door, thinking they're my
neighbor's friends but turnout they're testing to see if there's people in the house. Seeing no respond,
they prised open both the porch and house gates and ransack the house. My neighbor's son came home
to see his house gates and door were wide opened and saw a man with a parang in hand ransacking the
house.

He quickly yelled out and that startled the intruder. The intruder tried to slash my neighbor's son neck but
got his hand instead. The intruder immediately ran out of the house into a waiting car outside, He broke a
glass panel of the door, causing a loud crash. My other neighbors and I quickly come out to investigate and
saw a car sped off.

Seem like this is one of a tactic burglars are using today.

It is very unlikely because all the Taman(s) in Cheras are known "hot spots" especially Tmn Midah,
Tmn Cheras, Tmn Connaught, Bandar Mahkota Cheras, Bandar Tun Razak, Bandar Permaisuri and
Leisure Mall vicinity. These named areas had numerous mugging and snatch theft crimes involving
motocylists with parang gang in recent years. You may like to read more about it here:

My location is Kampung Pandan, KL. The incident took place at roughly 5.30 pm. Earlier, heard the
intruder called out "Abang! Abang!". Thinking maybe he's a friend or relative of my neighbor, I paid
little attention to it. Even the other neighbor, who is an auxiliary policeman came out for a peek.

Can you imagine how bold criminals are today? This is a lesson, from now on, I will be extra
vigilant and I hope you all will too.

Black perodua viva. Hit and run at mahkota cheras traffic light junction of persiaran mahkota cheras 1 and 2 around 8.05pm. In front traffic light got one police officer car, proton waja, silver colour wuj 9xxx looking helpless just pass by without chasing the viva driver.

i'm disappointed with the waja police officer car. The 1st car in front of the traffic car and i'm just behind the damn police officer car. The damn officer just look and drive away slowly when the light turn green. He didn't ever bother to offer help to the injured biker or chase the black viva driver. What kind of police on earth we have in Malaysia. If anyone have the cctv shooting of the incident please upload to youtube and show how efficient is PDRM.

He firstly thought was that some friends or relatives came over to his house for a visit until he saw a
man walking around in his house holding a bag and a parang. I don't know why he yelled out, but
it's a good thing because it attracted the attention of the other neighbors who rushed out to investigate.

I doubted very much calling 999 will do any good in that situation. The respond from the neighbors getting
out to help is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy faster than the police. biggrin.gif
