hi all.... here some question i like to know before i start playing Wow...
i got a 512mb broadband line... will it be enough to play WoW???
wat r the server available for ppl like us in asia???

512mbit or MByte, its still lulz enough.

which timeline in the future you came from? assuming ur from future malaysia.

actually,u can play in any servers u fancy.
recently, blizzard jus added servers for the latin america and soon russia.
hopefully in due time, there will b servers for us asian.

I am running on a 512kbps line also. Latency is around 300-350ms. Raiding it is about 400ms. Not too bad i think.

Slowest line I ever connected to is 224 kbps. Raiding with 60-70% spell detail, full music, Mik's Scrolling Battle Text, Terrain Distance max setting, a lot of addons.

It's fine.

Same here.. 512 line 250-400 ms depend on "mood". BTW i dig your avatar biggrin.gif

512 or 1mb no diff at all, jus c wat ip address u get. sum ppl will hav a smoother game play but sum dun even same set of ip... for the moment i know mostly malaysia ppl will be around 300~700ms depends on our time and ur luck.

BTW i from frostmourne. i meet like 5/10 player r from asia.

regardless what package u use..
the ip range what matters..
if u r on 2mb with bad ip.. same issue..

the best i got was during raya last year(yes, my family go out to visit relatives, i was in an instance), 82ms latency.

the worst i got was 1100ms.

i'm on 1MB line. and i play on Anvilmar where i rarely see any asians there. there's one filipino guy and me i think. or maybe they are playing Hordes mostly. couldn't be bothered. tongue.gif
