get a work permit and renew the visa then.

Well, its a thing of the past now (long time ago).

Maybe will try to switch jobs to there someday, but its the working permit that's the problem tongue.gif
The company is the one that should issue it..
... unless I miss something on this tongue.gif
(I don't wanna be an illegal immigrant though lol)

London. What's this got to do with travel and living though?

Good question biggrin.gif thus I have updated the purpose of this thread, in similarity to the intention of Club Japan thread.

A friend of mine had once told me (few years ago or was it last year, jayhan?) that if its over £1000 per month, one is able to live a comfortable life even in London.
I kinda forgot if he did told me that or was it another person, but that was told to me before all these global price hike tongue.gif

Haha, I spend a lot of time and money hunting for food around in London because there are quite a lot of good food here.  For Lochfyne, I initially intend to go there this week with my friends but one of them doesn't take seafood so we're trying out a Mongolian BBQ in Angel.  If you're in London, give me a buzz and we can try the Loch Fyne seafood platter!!

Firedauz, how about 27th Sept?

Aite, updated biggrin.gif

There are other foods besides satay at Satay House rite? Lolz
I'm not a big fan of satay but for a cup of Milo and meeting up I'm up for it biggrin.gif. So far my trip to France is set on 29. Hopefully no change.
What time shud we meet? Say 1 pm?
I can ask my friends if they want to join, buncha girls all Msians.

mrlappy: I remember your name now! Simon! haha rclxm9.gif

p/s firedauz, I think you should open up a topic in Events and Gathering biggrin.gif

Here's the address and map for Satay House
13 Sale Pl
Westminster, London W2
UK
http://maps.google.co.uk/?hl=en&q=13+Sale+...e,London,W2+1PX
Nearest Station Paddington or Edgware Road

All food served is confirmed Halal smile.gif
*
Understood, but there is one question before I make that thread; its regarding the time.
Hope you guys don't mind me saying this, but I think 1pm might not be quite a suitable time.
As we have been discussing about Satay House being a halal restaurant, I think some are still fasting at 1pm.

Just want to double-check, sorry happy.gif

Take a quick video this time (and upload to Youtube) biggrin.gif
I think most digital camera these days can already take some 1-2 minutes of videos nod.gif

Can show everyone else how fun the gathering is, then can attract more people to come rclxm9.gif
