Hi there. I will be traveling to Uk this July and would stay there for 5 month. I just want to ask about the cost of living in Bristol. Me and my other 2 friends will rent a house there for less than 500 pound. So, how about the groceries and entertainment? Is it expensive and how much would normally people spend? Im not a big eater and we prefer cooking than eating outside. I just need an average amount. Can someone help me?

Thanks Chizzu cause I budget 1000 pound every month including rental and transportation. So, i think 1000 pound a month should be enough right? Thanks ya

Guy, if we rent a house, how much normally we have to pay to the landlord?Well, that's what my friend who is from UK told me just now. He said in London is about 100 pound a month. Is it the same in Bristol?

guys, i'm studying in london soon in london college of accountancy. yes, sadly, it's in central london. can u guys recommend any areas for me to choose from? give me a zip code or street name and i'll look it up.

i was told that avg rent is around 100 pounds per week but i'm sure private tenants will offer lower rate. all i need is a place to cook and i'm alrite.

any tips is appreciated.

I will go to UK this end of july for three month for study. DO i really need a visa for that? And i got two weeks break. Can I do a part time job? Is it easy to find a part time job there? And I will bring some cash from Malaysia. Is it reliable or do i need HSBC bank account here and can use it at UK since HSBC also got at UK but afraid every transaction they may charge me. Help me please
