By the way, someone who can only make cheesecake and cupcakes can't be considered as a professional chef laugh.gif
Sure.  I would strongly suggest you avoid Janice's cupcakes though (not that I want to have an extra for myself!) as I don't think you would be happy if you're down with food poisoning laugh.gif
*
i think what you find is janice will slip a little something in your cupcake to make sure you get another food poisoning after the comment you've made laugh.gif

at least you didnt get stuck in the train like i did when i was coming bck from bham on sat.

the virgin train got stuck behind a train which had emergency breaks on and they took their own sweet time (40min)to decide that to let us get off from the station that the train was idling in.
then got swichted to another few more trains which either only went a few stops ahead or as soon as it goes into the station it is not in service because of the stupid train which had breaks on....

my supposedly last 15min journey home became 2 hours!

tube journeys you should check especially the weekend as they always have some sort of works...

Have a good trip to Japan  thumbup.gif

Hmm, I think stuff like Marimate, Aria etc aren't really that mainstream in the UK, no?  I guess most cosplay would be Bleach and Naruto?
*
i;ve seen a aria somewhere in the past b4. but didnt a good job imho so i didnt take a pic

well, bleachy and narutards are always in any cons/expos but they are getting less now.
u'd be surprised at the standards in the uk now tongue.gif

some of my random pic of the previous expo

*grump*... sleep on his couch?? no thanks... lol..

Added on August 22, 2009, 6:43 pmoh btw, yesterday my friend brought me to a very nice japanese restaurant in the chinatown. it's cheap, big portion and taste very good.. i can't remember wat is called, it's called something 'misono'.. my friend told me, if you want hv dinner over here, you need to queue up at least 1 hour!..
the portion is very very big.. it's enough for 2 ppl for one meal. can you imagine? one meal only £6.60!
*
its called misato.

yes the portion is very large. but i find the food only soso... and not worth long wait....but maybe its nicer now. the last time i went there was like a few years ago, and what i find funny is that the cooks and peeps in the kitchen are all indian biggrin.gif

i usually walk past the place and go in wong kei and eat their 'ngau lam tong ho' beef brisket noodles i think its called laugh.gif

wong kei, upstairs, downstairs?
*
lol up/downstairs.... or sit anywhere sweat.gif

yeah, infamous for their 'customer service' all the way back to the 70's

i think they are the cheapest in chinatown or among the cheapest. so its bang for buck for me and i usually go there alone anyway unsure.gif

put it this way, its not quite the place you'd take your date to laugh.gif
