Do you mean around the grommet holes (near to T-joint, counting out no.5 onwards) have dented (sunk) ? What racket is that ?

There are many factors: could be material defect, stored under hot condition, been using for long time already, constant high tension stringing (>26lbs).

I have few rackets (Less than 1 year to 1 year+) that have similar incident, worst than ur case. I'd just buy new.

If only this part sunk at 9th-10th hole, wrap BG66 string around in-between, replace two new grommets. It can be strung again high tension, just duno how long will the racket last. Normally when this started, other holes on the same side or other side would follow too. All these would happen from 5th-12th count from T-joint.

Nolah, just a racket pathologist. Nobody dares let me check theirs, it could be their last seeing of the racket, hehehhee. JK JK.

If didn't fasten the racquet frame holder properly, the whole racket would just collapse/patah (worst case scenario). Tmn Megah there, she just string in no time (so many rackets to be finished, gotta rush and just pull pull pull)

Depending which brand which model, doesnt meant all of them. racket doesnt last against clashes, some model has frail material n easily breaks with light clashes while being put with high tension.

Racket doesnt collapse by itself, only due to high tensioned+mis-hit, or grab-the opportunity (Wah~char siew bao,that's my shot) on a common area where both can take the shots, this where clashes would happen due to miscomm/sync.

We talk, eat, sleep, dream badminton, but we dont play.

If high tension, just whack to your shoe heel hardly then could reduce tension.

Only Chrisling is able to create monster thundersound smash with only 18lbs !

Stringing at Chiang Siah Store, Jalan Bangsar is good.

29lbs can smash faster...... if put 33lbs, then we cant see your shuttle anymore (oredi on the floor, too fast !)

Houhousek: if can recruit girls like your pic, then really motivates us all lor ! Chrisling would be damning us all the way, while trying to give some tips.

Grip slippery better change, I've thrown my racket while smashing. Saving Rm6 grip but spoilt a RM100+ racket, teruk la.....

Houhousek & Chrisling: If you guys dont mind, could try my stringing. My results will definitely "tight", then compare my 25lbs tightness with others, hehehehe. I would set 25lbs max for you guys, 26 is little redline.

Chrisling was right: AJ staffs' stringing were lil' poor due to rush jobs. They just "jerk" the string few times before clamping down really gets to my nerve. Cant say much or give opinion, might be offended them.

wah....din know you guys are waiting for me to say this. Yes, I have a machine at home. To do a good job, I need 35-40mins to finish (grommets checking, pre-stringing, and stringing).Will replace if some are broken without charge, if more than 50%, gotta change the whole 72-76holes at RM10. Here are some price as reference:

Your own string: RM7 (workmanship)
BG-66 = RM25
BG-80 = RM28

If you guys joining cyclone session (Sat or Sun), come earlier before session so I can do the stringing. My house just 15mins away. Anything we can decide in PM for advance appointment. since Houhousek stay in tmn desa which I'd pass the area sometimes, I could collect & pass back, you could bring along chris's 1 if you guys really play once a week. Sorry that I do not go Wangsa Maju so often as before.
