ive used a neckband before. my friends one. shipped back from the US. Its pretty nice, but for me a bit uncomfortable to wear for it slides down after some time. By the way, I'm a SteelSeries Ikari Optical user. Woohoo. Plus I'm gonna get my QCK Heavy soooon.

QUOTE(mois @ Aug 7 2008, 06:11 PM)
u ever compare the mouse with other mice such as DA , g9 or mx518?

*
Welll, I used to own a MX518, love it, but found problems with it, the cable got worn out, fixed it myself, and well don't really use it much now, spare. I use the Razer Krait a lot when I go to FTZ SS15. Don't like the shape, and no extra buttons. I love the Razer Deathadder. To me thats Razer's best mouse. Personal opinion. The shape fits my palm awesomely. But after using the SteelSeries Optical and going back to the DeathAdder, it seems that the deathadder doesn't move as precisely as the ikari optical. Thats what i think la. smile.gif

I would say the siberia is quite comfy on the ears but a little annoying to wear. especially with a cap. =/

well. just came back from LAN with friends, and 2 of em have the neckband and was commenting about it. Both agreed that its really good for music. And they also said that hearing footsteps on the Neckband is really good too. And yeah, I used DA without a mousepad and found it hard to track precisely, otherwise, I would say it's Razer's best mouse. biggrin.gif

im using a everglide titan fnatic edition. The Cafe that I go to has DA, but didn't bring my mousepad that day. so experienced some missed sniper shots.

ok. so my 2 friends, one is thin, one is rather big, and im in the middle. there's a significant difference between all of us though, both of em have shorter hair than I do, i have pretty long hair, covering ears and all, and i experienced some slipping down of the neckband, I had to push my hair to the side a bit. haha. so if you dont have long hair, i guess its okay. =D

yeah. laser is very expensive. but not really needed for FPS, for it can be programed to have macro settings, more for RTS games. ikari optical and laser have the same shape i think. if not mistake, looks really alike.

no its not because of the laser. its because of the software/hardware.

nah, aerowave are different people. thier signatures have the aerowave banners on them. you can try to search thier topics in garage sales if im not mistaken. im guessing this is a new distributor for the prices TS stated are different from the prices stated in aerowave. smile.gif

Yeah I used a Logi MX518. Love it. Though found it losing to my new Ikari Optical. And MS Intelli 3.0 has equal to better specs than DA.

hey guys, i just got my ikari laser mouse and i wondering any other owner out there can teach me how to assign a single key to the mouse button? for example if i want to set the keyboard's number 1 to my mouse button 3, how do i do it?
*
Well I think if you wanna put your number 1, to mouse button 3, which would be the mouse wheel button? You could do it in game, like 1 for CoD4 is to switch weapons, could be done in the control menu, etc. I think the software with the Ikari Laser is for macros. unsure.gif (Note the "I think")
