@bv2427, how does the qck heavy feel? just like qck only?
*
I'm not sure how a Qck feels like. But I guess it's the same. Just different thickness. Cos the rest of the Qck series are 2mm but different dimension, except for Qck Mass.

hahhaa nice...will do...u guys will be there every saturday?

Well, not this Saturday, we're busy. But next and most Saturday's we're there. Let me know. biggrin.gif hehehe.

not reali..its up the individual..thicker cz it was made for u to bring to LAN as some LAN provide tables that are uneven..that its y its thick..so u wont feel the table uneven..correct me if im wrong..wat mousepad u using currently?
*
Yeah the thickness is to overcome the unevenness of the table as stated on the SteelSeries website. Also I got this for I ordered it of Amazon and its cheap. rclxms.gif And I need it big for I play FPS with low sensitivity. So need to swing the mouse in a big area to cover.

I've got no clue what liftoff does. I've got no problems. I still can snipe the enemies ass. Hehehehe. Awesome. Getting a new Ikari from the locals. Haha. In the end they still have to listen to the big boss. Did you have to send the Ikari back to them? Or just pass it to the local distributors?

where to check? They use qck heavy? My experience combining DA with qck, really horrible. But perfect with goliathus. IF ikari comes to goliathus, suck also. However, both on par if play on exactmat cox hard surface ma.
*
What makes it really horrible? hmm.gif

@mois: Sold your ikari laser already?
And I think Everglide and Razer use the same Everglide technology for their mousepads. If you see Razers mousepads, they have Everglide logos some where on the box. Steelseries however claim they do their own research and stuff that cater to the gamers needs. They collaborate with their teams to create new stuff.

really looking forward to his review though.. i really hope he can review steelseries headset actually... sad.gif

Well, if I can get SteelSeries to let me review headsets, I'd do it. Besides, I've tried the Neckband, Icemat Siberia and 5Hv2 w/ USB already. tongue.gif

hmm, good then.. so, which of the headsets the best?
*
Well, there are many good things and bad. I'd say the most ideal for gaming is 5Hv2 followed by either Siberia. The 5Hv2 is a free wall hack, every footstep can be heard. However, the 5Hv2 has a downside, low on bass, which makes the M4A03 sniper sound in CoD4 a ear bleeding experience. I noticed that his low bass is the one that actually makes the footsteps more noticeable. The Neckband is most suitable for listening to music and watching videos, compared to the other 2. I would say this for it truly is nice listening music off it. The Icemat is a balance of both. Personally feeling, I don't feel the Icemat Siberia to be very comfortable to wear. Not sure why. thumbup.gif cool.gif

what about neckband? is it comfy? haha, wanna buy a new headset to match my all white gaming rig.. (lol, still waiting my razer barracuda RMAed)
*
QUOTE(CasaNova™ @ Sep 25 2008, 10:14 PM)
hmm..yea its comfy..but after a while it will slide down..i suggest u get siberia..but its up to u..
*
Yeah wearing the neckband, for me, slides down after awhile, very annoying.

QUOTE(G_KeN @ Sep 25 2008, 10:44 PM)
oh, already tried mois's siberia b4, but i prefer razer barracuda more though..
*
I personally don't like Barracuda. It's heavy and it presses inwards, a lot of pressure to the brain. LoL.

not sure about ikari optical, but for ikari laser, combine with qck heavy sure is pure pwnage combo.. what i really like about ikari laser is that u can download pro gamers profile (dpi they used) from steelseries website, which means u can have exact experience as pro gamers do handling their mice.. btw, did i mentioned that most pro gamers (including fnatic) opt for steelseries sponsorship rather than razer? tongue.gif
*
Yeah, you can download pro gamers profile, but I think you only gain full advantage if you were a RTS gamer, for Laser can do macro's that some pro gamers use. However DPI and such, to me, doesn't really matter. And yes, fnatic recently changed from Razer to SteelSeries, even after so many years with Razer. Hahaha. Too bad. SteelSeries FTW!! flex.gif

QUOTE(Calvin_PB @ Sep 30 2008, 10:06 PM)
ohh icic... then i get it then garage sales tongue.gif biggrin.gif.... there written they use ony, actually almost none of them also using the steelseries... all also marketing.. like that ony can make more sales.. haha
*
Not true man, if you read, most SteelSeries products are made together with the SteelSeries sponsored teams. This is of cos for marketing reasons, however, it also takes into consideration what the gamers want and need. After they make their products, I don't think they will want to use any other brand. It's like saying, Rooney makes a special edition Nike boot, customized to his needs, but then uses another brand. . . . unsure.gif

Yah. DA has driver problems. My friend has a DA and brings it to LAN, but whenever he plugs it in, it says, device not recognized, and he has to restart his computer. The only software that the Ikari has is to change its CPI for the CPI settings, basically, don't need it at all, since the Ikari Optical is not a mouse with macro functions, a driver is not needed, that is the speciality, according to SteelSeries, about the Ikari Optical, Plug-And-Play purposes. Not sure bout Ikari Laser though. Wheeeeeee. 5Hv2 coming soooon!!! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
