izit true our rainy weather here in msia not so suitable for detailing? one time rain only, all hard work gone. tht's what i experience. wife always nagging say it's waste of time spending on car instead of with wife & children.   unlike in states or elsewhere where it's doesn't rain tht much & not humid.

because there is nothing to talk..hmmm...let me ask some stupid question..

would it be feasible to make the paint have no spider webs for a everyday use car?

but wax won't cover the little valleys leh...

how often do u send for polish? any recommendation? every 6 mths?

some recommend every six month, but it still depends on the surface condition. If u do maintain ya car like waxing every month at least twice, park under shade most of the time..you only need to do the polishing one a year. Remember, polishing will make ya paint thinner, so too much is bad for the paint.

Most of the forummers here DIY during the freetime, its a good body workout.

Adui..wonder how much will it cost?? Already got dents and scratches here and there due to parking at supermarkets, people dun care, just simply open their door slam on mine

ive used wd40 to wipe it off ... oso not working
ive used auto glym paint renovator to wipe it off ... oso not working

soo .... any other remedies?? ..  me noob in car detailing ... or even car washing ... so ... pls dont flame me ... plsss ...

more that a week...wow..that too long wei...usually if u see any poo around, straight i pour water and wipe it off..furthermore, is under the sun...once is etched to the clear coat..then more work have to do....if the poo is within 24 hours and under the hot bake sun, it will etched abit already

Polishing also can't leh..how? Still stuck there... Can I clay it myself?

blue clay? whow....how different izit from the meguiars one? more abbrasive? soft 99 products mostly in japanese. so we dun understd the instructuions.

sure no need claying? hard to belief la unless u dun drive yr car at all since u bought it.

it's hard to belief cos u know la how our m'sian road condition. for eg, once u drv over new tar road, sure got tar stuck to the car. tht's one of the eg. other than tht can be due to insects. these r the few eg. i mentioned. there r many more.

Use claying n c got effect o not ...den use ColorX on it ... den wax it ... shud heal it more la if cant completely fix it

The 1 u got is simaliar to ColorX, it heals the oxidize paint on ur car n it DOESN'T clean as much as it shud. AFAIK ColorX has a lil wax component in it as well ...

For clay, if u refer to the Soft99, there's 2 types, u buy depending on ur car coat. There's 1 for metallic and another i forgot .. i use the light green 1 for my black CT ... Meg's is not bad as well ... but a bit costly

Egie ... u wanna know when ur car needs claying? When u wash ur car ..  try feeling her body with ur fingers ... feel her everywhere ... n IF u FEEL ANY  surface which is rough or "not smooth" den u NEED claying .. Sorry to break it to ya ... though waxing is good but usually dirt bonds with wax .. there for even u wax a lot the chances of bonded dirt is there ... worst still it gets cover n "protected" by a new wax job ... so i would suggest a good clay n polish n wax session la

BTW, for any detailing shop, make sure they use MF cloths for buffing n drying ...

stono chips very difficult to avoid huh eventhought we keep like 3 cars away from the front car.
