LOL I have yet to try meguairs range of products and I believe they are top class in the industry.
However I don't think nxt2.0 should be considered as the best based on what you said there (eg. water still bead almost a month with 2 weeks once washing).

This is because with TW Ice Liquid Synthetic Polish, the water still beads despite after one month old with every week washing and without quick wax.
*
Actually i was referring the best wax I've been use now. Their got a lot range product and brand out there and meguiar's its not a Top product.
But it good for consumer

water beading is a very subjective issue to be discussed honestly..

beading is only when the water is 80% spherical.. anything less than 50% spherical is not beading anymore... so on and so on... and the other bla bla bla theories.. biggrin.gif so u see.. diff ppl has diff opinions..

and, washing concentration, pH and strength all are diff from each users n brands.. all manufacturer has diff formulation..

it is just unfair to compare diff product, diff preparations, diff wash n diff so on.... wan compare? standardised everything except wax used.. smile.gif

for this, how would u rate the beading?

by what u mention above 50% spherical it's water on top is it like ur picture right?. But sometime a lot of dust the surface still can resist and made water bead easily

It is ok to wash our car twice per week? BTW, I using Meguairs Gold class shampoo. It wont harm our clear coat right?
*
U using good car wash, so no problem's i think, Never trust out side to wash the car because their use heavy chemical and can be describe as degreaser.
anyway i also wash twice a week, some-time 3time a week depend on mood.

you have to know yr is a DD (daily driven car) not show room car.... at times it is pretty unavoidable..

change your microfibers 3-4 times a year ( try not to use mitt, if need too, pls wash it clean)

lets meet up & take a look to see how i can guide u to detail yr own

*
yeah kc's it's daily ride, but 24hour always park at shade place, inside mall.
and i believe those fine scratches appear during wash my car and wipe dry-it.
kc's very interested to join your class/training, i need alot to learn from sifu, pm me date/time. since i need to apply my offday to travel from melaka to KL notworthy.gif

and one more thing, what u mean not to use mitt? i need to use mf cloth to soaping my car kc's?

Hi Buddy Eddyman

it will be good to meet up & view yr paint together, to see how can we equipe to to detail on yr own

detailing spray - use 2 ounce of ONR  in a 500ml = TADA QD liow

to remove swirls ...Hmmmm subjective - if it is white or silver nobody can see - no need to trouble
others - try OHSP - opt hyper spray polish + optimum double sided pad - TADA  *better with rotary ( more consistent & better results)

wax - sealant- the best, effortless & efective

Optiseal - so affordable - 1 bottle 8 ounce (4 times applications ) can last for 10 years

OCwax so effortless & effective = i ve got a lady follower who wash her car & wax weekly without fail & results blink blink
Thanks Doritezza for yr kind words & it my pleasure to share to you my passion buddy
once venue confirm class will commence
no worries buddy - will try to arrange one in Melaka (kindly get 10 participants & venue) we will get down to train you

Mitts is good but you have to clean properly , as it dirt & finer sands get traps beneath the wool strands...& when it is worn out (pls change)

as for me i would prefer MF - cheap & easily wash & affordable to replace (3 sets ) a year

nothing last for clear coat cleanning - as when we do it so often - we actually creates friction - resulting swirls

best of all - find some thing u like & do it - effortlessly
wash thoroughly & make sure it is well clean before next use - lower area or rims pls use a separate material

cos u dont want to trap these contamination into your next wash

recommended to use gird guard when wash
*
10participant? i will try to get 1st then will pm you, but if you conduct any training at KL this coming soon also u can pm me, interested to join.
my wash mitt's i think already torn-out, using almost 1year, maybe that the cause.
it's easy to use mf cloth rather than mits?

great work as usual rclxms.gif
some-time i lazy to wash my entire car when their are just light dust bond to it, and solution use ONR as quick detailer, spray and wipe with damp microfiber cloth, and soak microfiber in water to remove the dust and repeat the step again.
i can see it quite safe with fine scratch and really safe the time to wash entire car

Is Autoglym that much better than Meguiars?
Cause is is 2x the price for Autoglym.

Autoglym is RM70/1 litre
Meguiars and Turtle Wax Ice is RM70/2 litre

Is it worth it to pay double?
I am only buying the car shampoo.
I dont have a wax machine.
So I am wondering if it would make any difference at all between
Autoglym and Meguiars/Turtle wax
*
and a again, it's just brand for god sake that make it price double. use meg's nxt it's good for both valued for money and quality. 1bottle of nxt car wash can hold 1 whole year with average wash 2times/week

So there really isn't much of a difference because in Singapore
it costs around RM40 for 1 liter.
So it is actually same price per liter with Meguiars which costs RM70-80.

So which one would be better on a metallic silver car (Proton Waja)?
-Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner
-Meguiars NXT Generation Car Wash
-Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash
-Turtle Wax Ice Wash
*
it's not make any different, i already use meg's gold class, nxt, ONR, TurtleIce. their are no different. all product give shine. but i stick with nxt because it give better cleaning. car shampoo is just medium for gliding into car surface without scratch you clear coat

hey guys, for new paint, it is ok to do waxing right? to give it a protective layer... sorry newbie to car detailing...

@ bro KC, interested in the ONR car wash, and do u have a detailing centre?
*
Yes, new fresh paint better to get-it protect by wax, and if can, re-apply it once a month to maintain your paint. smile.gif , u can skip the polish.
