I had my polish and wax done from some normal cash wash centre for RM170 with whatever products they use. The results are alright and acceptable smile.gif I guess the reason is because my original paint is kind of worn off to some extent anyway.

Wow RM148, hard to imagine they can earn any money at all O.o Then again, I think the word is being abused too much and it makes u wonder what's the real package involved? Maybe you can ask for a list of Compound/Polish products used

I've been Posh Car Care before to polish my car and they really have done a very good.
After 3 months, my car still shining like new. brows.gif

I think machine price doesnt matter as skill is more important than anything.
Even u have machine, u might harm your car if you dont know how to polish.
I tried before and caused lots of holograms. It was terrible.... cry.gif

Anyway, I highly recommend everyone to go there as their service are good and cheap (most important).
Besides polish, they also wash cushion, polish windscreen/mirror, etc....
And, if you want them to do minor things, they willing to do it FOC. rclxms.gif
Not believe, you can try there as they helped me polish some scratches off for FREE. whistling.gif

mates. I just had a crow that crapped on my car (in the HOT NOON!),

by the time i wiped it off yesterday evening, the paint had already "wrinkled" up under the acidity of the shit.

How Do I get rid of that? Its just 1 small spot tho.

I dont reckon claying can remove it right?

Give it 3-4 weeks under hot sun before going for another round of polish + wax. Orange peel effect will appear and that's what the first round of polishing is for. Then apply wax straight away after that. smile.gif

Thanks for the reply smile.gif. Meaning after paint, i dont have to wax yet, but after 3-4 weeks only do one round of polish and wax? smile.gif

guys, need help here.

I just sent my car to Posh Car Care last 2 weeks for their polish+wax package, which i was glad, cz i remove all my minor scratch. Bad luck I guess, yesterday some crazy cat wa fighting or else, near my car, and start jumping on it, leave quite a long scrath on the car roof, as well on the front bumper....
Since I cannot tahan see my car like that, can I actually send to polish+wax again? Will it harm the paint? The scratch not deep, but can see quite clear lor

It wont harm the paint but it will certainly make thinner a layer of your clearcoat. Do u know why scrathes can be remoce when polish? When u polish, it actually polish off a layer of ur cleacoat thus ur scratches dissapear. Too much of polishing will certainly make ur clearcoat thinner. In the other hand. wax is jes a layer of wax covering ur car paint. To protect birdshit, acid rain etc. U can wax everyday also can but u r not crazy, arent you? tongue.gif

I was saying polishing made ur paint coating thinner and certainly waxing would not make ur paint coat thinner. Shampoo? Bro, do u know that our paint coating is very tough? It wont come off jes like that la. Only polishing will made ur paint coating thinner. That also very very little only. Only a few mm thin.
