to eloborate it more, u should ask yngwie lor..
spinner..

nah! i was born as a hook bowler; that was when i am competing in junior level.
decided to turn to spinner when i went to further my studies. spinner with slight hook. nothing beat the fun of watching the pin slowly falling into one direction
@get a ball between 11.8 - 12.5lbs. according to own preference with deep drilling. i am using 12.3lbs. the reason for the slightly heavier ball; when everything else failed, increase the ball's speed. lesser rpm and use the impact akin to the hook style. spare ball can be a cheap plastic ball; which is more direct in approach.
@most spinner prefer a higher rpm. the higher the better. but the fundamental part is an ability to adjust the ball's rpm and speed; to suit to the lane condition. this can bee done by adjusting the hand's speed and wrist / fingers / thumb rotation degree.
@in order to be consistent, avoid spinning by using excessive force from the 2 finger. your 2 finger may not be able to contained the ball in the long run. it should be done either by spreading the power evenly from your wrist all the way to fingers and thumb. in my case, with slight extra force from the thumb during release.
@timing is important, if you twist your wrist too early, the ball goes into the wrong direction

else, excessive force from the 2
finger and you may get injured.
@more and more training. even if training doesn't bring us to perfection, it does bring consistency in our play
btw, the biggest advantage of spinner style is none other than..... the ability to play with in-house ball. it was kinda fun beating the pro' looking guys next lane while using in-house ball
am no longer play bowling on regular basis thou...... golf rulezzz
