hohohoh.....I am still very newbie sometimes.
And I will opt for iA instead of manual if I don't feel like spending too much time adjusting the shot.
Was experiencing a bit of rain at that time so had to take the shot faster than usual.

little rain only wor
sayang ur new baby is it...kakakaka

Come Come..lx3 user....dun take night shot already...try to take this kinda art grafitti....and post here

roughly how to do it.

Manual mode....5 to 30 seconds exposure on dark area on tripod, set and test aperture....ISO 100 use led or torch light...spin spin.....

if want to capture image...use flash...then capture the light.

should try it..the pic is brighter than what it should b...80/100 will do i guess.i'll post summore pics once it stops raining outside.hehe~
*
the slow shutter will compesate the darkness and make the picture brighter...
So use low ISO
the best is do it in a pitch black place...

need to agak use how many seconds without over expose the lights...

If u wanna freeze the object let say the human

use 10 seconds shutter..then use flash....once take picture...and it flashed...then the object can move around and draw picture

or u can ask another person...to help..set to 30 seconds or longer....need a black cloth...if wanna draw nicely..need to close the lenss with the black cloth

Hmmm .. great pictures !!

I'm wondering if those are done with a DSLR or the LX3 ... cus it's not stated.
*
of course DSLR lar..but in guru and pro's hand...it will be the same

coz using ISO 80 ..dun need high ISO to get this kinda effect....

8 seconds shutter max?

60 seconds for LX3 lar....

DSLR has bulb mode which can control the shutter iris on and off...

but for LX3 dun have..so we use black cloth ..it works the same

RoxyGal,

I am a total newbie who might wanted learn some photography skill here. hehe...

Mind to tell how can I set that? I am using S mode and the max I can set is 8.
*
actually rite..i know the basic only....need practise trial and error

any camera also can do..if got manual mode.....

better put in Manual ...if no M ..use S lor

S put 8 seconds...then draw lor...

my other cheap samsing S760..rm 300 digicam..also can do...

Put manual mode

Aperture put F2.8..... put AWB..put Centre spot...dun use multi spot.

then shutter put 8 seconds....must use tripod...dun on flash...

go into the room...off all the light must dark dark....set timer 10 seconds....

use led to draw once the camera start taking picture...

at first draw circle.....circle it 2 times...

trial and error lor....

if too bright lower the seconds....ISO..jz use low ISO

erm..the led light not bright enuff...and the room not dark enuff.....

u should always use bright aperture with less shutter speed....so the room looks dark...and the led light looks bright.

something like F2.8 or F3.3 with 10 seconds to 15 second shutter...at ISO 80..using SPot focusing ( not centre weight or multi) AWB is correct.

and also..on the lights and set the manual focus distance..normally at 3 metre or 5 metre...if not..lock the focus first...using the lock focus button on top

Hi,
Just wanted to share this...
I Finally Got My LX3 in BLACK yesterday morning...last one in stock.
I called the guy on Monday night and made sure he sms-ed me on the stock, price
and reservation .
So far been busy with work and i am typing this, my battery is being charged at the same time.
The Funny thing is that, when i wanted to test the camera and i brought it up to my eye level and
i then realized that it was not a DSLR..hehe..

I was also intending to buy a used D70s with kit for RM1,300.00 in very good condition, but someone
beat me to it.
Well, next year i will certainly get the D90 as well, when the price drops a little.
Well will take a few pictures today and see what the Happiness is all about!.

Cheers
*
u buying LX3 thinking it is a small size DSLR?

mana boleh?

No I did not zoom. Because when I use F2.8 the picture came out too bright...
How to avoid that?
*
a little bright it's ok.Since we want to see the LED light to shine and able to show the background area.

Do it by using shutter speed 8 seconds and below if using F2.8

I still searching for the best combination using trial and error.

or F5 using 15 second

it's all matter..shutter...speed....distance from the subject.

Why not try using F3.5 using 15 seconds shutter, standing distance 10 metre from the camera..using spot focus, lock the distance focus first when bright using lx3 top button..then off the light..then take picture lor
