Photo taken without tripod.

Not so good result. I blame it on my skills and not LX3 smile.gif

I purposely bought LX3 for my Taiwan trip. I was also considering it over other cameras with greater zoom lens

I didn't regret buying LX3 for Wide Angle. Wide Angle is so good for landscape shooting.

With Wide Angle, taking photos brings new meaning. As for zoom wise, just have to walk nearer smile.gif

I plan to start shooting RAW and 4GB can only take 300+ photos, not enough for me during outing

What is the largest capacity of the memory card that is supported by LX3?

What brand and cost?

1 picture taken in JPEG format.
Use lightroom to create 2 files, Ev+2 and Ev-2.
Use Photomatix Pro to create HDR using Tone Mapping from the 3 files (Ev0, EV+2, Ev-2)

Latest version of Photomatix Pro 3.1.2 is just released

Good news for us...

Updated in v3.1.2
- Added support of RAW files from recent camera models such as the 5D Mark II and Panasonic LX-3.

QUOTE(ryuuzaki @ Dec 4 2008, 11:14 PM)
the auto wb looks so off! which firmware u using? btw how much is that wb cap?
*
Firmware 1.0

WB Cap is not mine. My friend bought it over ebay for <RM20

QUOTE(SeeD @ Dec 5 2008, 12:20 AM)
You sure it's the auto wb that looks off ?
Isn't it the lighting in starbucks yellow coloured ?
*
Actually the Auto WB took what the real light environment is at starbucks, which is yellowish

But the Manual WB took what the real colour of the cup looks like in day light

Ya wont fit. The WB Lens cap very big.

Another way of setting manual WB is point it at a white A4 paper. Quite the same result as WB Cap
