Hancock Gets UK Blu-ray Date; US Soon?

Sony Pictures Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Europe has announced that they will bring the Will Smith summer blockbuster hit 'Hancock' to Blu-ray on December 1st, day-and-date with the DVD release. No official announcement regarding the US date, but with a UK date in place, one would expect to see it hit US store shelves on Tuesday, December 2nd.

No other information is available at this time, but stay tuned for an official announcement which

Sex and the City Movie Coming to Blu-ray

Warner Bros. Warner Home Video in conjunction with New Line Home Entertainment have announced that they will bring the smash hit 'Sex and the City: The Movie' to Blu-ray as a special edition on September 23rd, day-and-date with the DVD release. The title will come on a BD-50 utilizing 1080p VC-1 video. No other technical specs or supplemental features have been announced at this time.

got my first bd (Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy Boxset) from bro arj yesterday

I have one question to the sifus here:
How do we know that the sound received by the avr is really dd hd or dts hd and not just the normal dd and dts since there is no indication on the avr? is there any way to check that? The reason i m asking is because I cant hear the difference compare to normal dvd with dts/dd.
picture wise , of course can see the difference. bd is superior
