Been to a bodykit shop in the afternoon to survey diffuser price. An unpainted fiber are sold RM130 per pair.

Then I also ask how much for complete skirting and quoted RM1030 (front+side+rear+diffuser) complete with installatin and painting. Material is PU. He even put those skirt onto my car temporarily and it looks really nice thumbup.gif Just fit nicely.

They will use double sided tape (not rivet). Maybe tomorrow will go and put deposit. brows.gif

HOw does the front lip looks like?
*
I kinda stupid not to take picture when they put the front lip doh.gif But it fit nicely and the design follow all the bumper curve. Kinda hard to describe lar. But the towkey said, this lips is for the facelifted Waja.

Found one on the internet. I think its the same design.

R3 only for the old Waja with nose. I lost his number, sorry. I think this design is the simplest compared to the other design at the shop.

Just paid the booking fee and they will send it to paint. Hopefully can get it installed by Tuesday. brows.gif

The amp why don't want put under the seat?
*
There are pro's and con's putting amp under the seat.

Pro: shorter connection from HU (no need high pre-amp out HU) and battery. Harder for people to steal your amp (has to take out seat 1st).
Con's: poor ventilation (hot). Cannot show off (hidden). Harder to adjust the sound. Longer wire needed for Sub.

But I still prefer to put my 'future' amp under the seat. brows.gif

actually got plan put under the seat..but u c my monoblock amp...if put under seat ar u leg will be stepping on it....thts is how long it is..2 way is no problem under the seat but monoblock cant..morover, as said, under the seat is hot..no vendilation, hard to tuned but rarely tuned amp oso la....

is good ting to hide all ur amps under the seat...but the best still bhind the boot...not to say show off or wat so ever but amp need good vendilation..i dun1 half way driving got my ass burn....hahahhahahah
my car keep it very low profile on ice...HU oso stock, component speakers are hidden....frm outside cant notice anyting...just like ori...
*
If I were to upgrade my ICE ( brows.gif ) my setup/plan will be like this.

HU -> active crossover (under seat) ->4 ch amp (under seat) for mid and tweeter
->monoblock (or a bridge 2 ch amp in the boots) for sub.

yah place original socket but modified slightly to cater the huge tweeter.....tweeter slightly facing driver position....

sphiroth...

nice setup..is depends on ppl...my boot just wana keep sweet and simple...actually..under seat or boot it makes not much different...

hv any1 started to mod on performance yet???plannin to take the cat con out place 4-2-1 extrator...replace air filter..
*
I'm more interested in visual in car entertainment these days... brows.gif

For performance, I've already change to K&N drop in. Others still standard. If I were to play with exhaust setup, the 1st thing is to remove the cat-con and replace it with bullet and changing the muffler to the twin-loop design. As for the header (extractor), I will used the R3 one because most of the header out there not suitable for CPS as the firing order is different from other engine (from what I read in a forum).

my suggestion is if that prob happen again 2 u, bring ur car to sc.
relax bro, that is exactly what it should be. pls refer to ur manual.
*
The check engine light will only turn off when the engine starts. I've already answered this a few post back sweat.gif

There's one member here with this problem (check engine light) because the VIM is not functioning. nod.gif

but too bad.. they don have T_T
*
I think the previous promotion is the 'close shop' sale as they didn't receive any backing from Proton anymore. whistling.gif

Maybe you should straightaway get full adjustable. brows.gif

Just went to sc again.. Still no sign getting the gasket.. vmad.gif  Talk to one of waja cps owner. He said that his car got leaking to.. Not from the rocker cover, but area that have glue seal, where engine block attach to head. Just minor leak...

It is true that, in waja cps manual, the recommended engine oil grade is 10w30 ..?? shocking.gif  The guy told me, owner of that waja... But the sc foreman don't believe it... But he still wanna use that oil grade. Then the foreman has to use the 3L petronas syntium 800 10w30 + another 1L as it came in 3L bottle..  hmm.gif
*
If not mistaken, the viscocity of engine oil recommended by the manual is 15w30, meaning that we can only use semi synthetic and no fully synthetic because of the viscocity rating.

Yes it's true, for campro cps engines the manual says 10w30 or higher. I read it myself. Next service i think i'm going to try that...
*
Maybe those leakage is the engine oil sipped through the gap because its too 'thin'? hmm.gif
