QUOTE(Neoh1979 @ Jun 20 2012, 11:36 PM) It has been amazingly approved by Mpsj http://jkpzone16.blogspot.com/2010/12/land...hind-bomba.htmlwhich had heavy protest by wawasan 3 residents. Doesn't make sense to utilized that piece of slope. I saw the plan....gosh not another disaster .... Before MPSJ said cannot approve, now approved? Gosh.. |

LOL... remembered the rumour bfore was BOC will enbloc the supposedly office tower where Trigon is now. But great news for Puchong all in all! More good news to come![attachmentid=2905205] Great news that Bank of China is going to station in PFCC, I have confidence that SW commercial shoplots will be a great success! Went to Setiawalk on a few occasions, Friday night, Saturday morning and Sunday night.
Observations: 1. Friday night was packed with people... we can hardly find parking when we reach at 1030pm... vibrant drinking arena! 2. The music was loud, mainly from Sector 7/ The Beer Factory and Muzeum (live band). Those who are intolerant to noise may find it disturbing. 3. I found it quite stuffy inside there, although my friend said it's not that bad. However, the airwell between the shops units and the apartments were very windy and very cooling. Not that it helps much though for those inside. 4. Very tough business competition there. Tappers was doing brisk business on Sunday night (full house) while Beer House was swatting flies. Kenny Rogers closed till further notice 5. Very easy accessability from basement carparks. Escalators and staircases are located at very near intervals. Lifts are disabled-friendly. 6. Narrow turning into basement carparks, and the route through is sort of meandering and quite narrow. Can't drive too fast inside the basement. Might be good for pedestrian safety. 7. Saw a few new tenants renovating: Idarts, Legsotic, Cafe Barbera, Brussels Beer Cafe, My Perfect Beauty Saloon, Yamagoya Ramen, Primavera, Ding Tea, one corner lot restaurant at Block E, one 1st floor tenant at Block H (facing LDP). Still quite slow, my friends and sister have the impression there's nothign opened in Setiawalk from the outside but once inside, they're quite impressed. 8. A very nice place to spend quality time with loved ones, landscaping is really nice and you have to feel it in person. Outdoor atmosphere is just different from indoor air-conditioned feel, although you might sweat a bit. New tenants... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(Vestor @ Jun 25 2012, 11:12 PM) Nice pics sharing there bro. Your camera is very good, can take night shots very well. Thanks, just using an entry level dslr to take these. Ya, i can hear the music the moment i walked up the staircase. Best option for those who wanna hv the fun near but not the noise is facing forest units. Those west facing Brio units will be exposed to the most noise due to Sector7/ Beer Factory. The night atmosphere is way too noisy for me. I think those aartments on top will have tough time cooping with such loudness. |

QUOTE(spydermind @ Jun 26 2012, 09:21 PM) This place is booming...but i am not sure if it will affect those restaurants that are already in operation in puteri or pusat bandar puchong. In Pusat Bandar Puchong, mostly foodcourts and food stall styles restaurant right? I think these will not be affected as different market catchment. In fact, it will complement SW as in more food variety and choice across the price range. In Bandar Puteri, they have more cafes/ bistros, so yes, I think somehow these will be affected. Tough business, even in SW itself some outlets are doing better than others. |

QUOTE(ah_chung @ Jun 29 2012, 05:15 PM) personally don't like that open-style corridor, u will know when there's a heavy rain (already can see the stain on the floor)... Dunno, but unless it's fully centralized a/c serviced apartments (hotel style), otherwise most residential apartments in Malaysia have open style corridor... Yes, rain time definitely will get wet. |

This should be able to serve as a shelter to the corridor of the 3-4 floors below. I expect no major problem unless the wind is very strong when it rains. I saw the reno notice, it is Idarts.. Just came back from Sector 7 for dinner cum drinking, went thr direct from melaka .. Ambience not bad, food is ok (ordered bangsar babe's recommendation on blog), service not good enuf, we were given the bill halfway through eating. Super windy today after rain, feels great sitting outside, saw many glass ashtrays being blown off tables and broken. Good news or bad, saw another bistro opening beside 3 wise monkeys, it's called chuck's little cottage. Think some of the soho units occupied d, saw aircond compressors at the ledge. One thing abt securities, they r all sitting standing near roads but didnt see any at the carparks. My female friend didnt like this, she dun feel secure enuf wo their presence down thr. Something to improve.
