Hi to all. I wana ask a few questions about zoom g9.2tt.

1) How do i sustain a note very long? (as if i am using sustain pedal. Cause the ZNR seem to kill the sustain. I have to turn off the znr to get the sustain but still not long enough.)

2) How do i do the screaming delay effect like the one satriani did? The one he pushes the whammy bar, harmonic a note and then pull and sustain. Then will get the some sort of dirty scream like a feedback or something. Sounds like crying wah but i think its feedback though.

3) How do i reduce the "extra noise" when i use Acou Sim. Cause when i play, i get the dirty sound behind even i turn on the ZNR. It sounds really retarded when u cant even sustain a chord long enough for a slow tempo song.

Please help me. THank you very much. cheers.gif

1. Probably the decay on the noise gate (I'm assuming ZNR is a noise reduction system) is turned too fast? May also be the noise gate turned too high.
Anyhows, try turning off your noise gate, and lowering your gain. If noise is your problem, check if it's coming from your amp first. Since gain amplifies the signal, any noise in the chain gets bumped up at that. Your cables, are they good ones? If you have any other pedals, check them individually see whether they are noisy or not.

2. Satch? Artificial harmonics and the trem, other factors probably is his amps feedback. He specifically places tapes on the stage to identify spots he can use to control the amps feedback.

3. no idea =/
