smile.gif The hot spring is located on the old road to Bentong. According to the info from the net it is 8 kilometers before Bentong town. If you take the exit from Genting, option 1, you have to travel further on the old road from the interchange towards Bentong or take option 2. Exit at the first Bentong interchange and upon reaching a junction turn left here. This is the old road to KL/Genting and it is about 5 kilometers from this junction. If you are visiting and driving during the day, the drive using the old road should be pleasant right from Gombak/Setapak juction, passing the old Mimaland. You can also go onto the old road from Batu Caves road from Selayang, head to Gombak.

last time i went there (june 2010), u can finish all place within a day.. it's not that big.. u can park your car at colmar & take the shuttle from there. If u have money to spend of cos u can stay overnight but IMHO it's not worth it.

I just got back from a 2D 1N trip and I enjoyed the experience.

I went to both French fine dine and Japanese restaurant. The price, IMO, is reasonable, food quality ain't bad and the service was good.

To be specific, for the fine dine, you will have to pay about 30~60 for a main course, which is about the same with spending at Victoria station. I walked out with a $170 bill for 2 persons (soup and main course), 1 dessert and 1 glass of wine. For the Japanese food, I paid $100 for 2 persons for 2 set-meals, with soup, unagi, tempura, dessert (comes with bento). The portion is larger than what you get from the KL's Japanese restaurants. Green tea is not refillable sadly.

I went to the bar too, brandy and cocktail at the price of $20 per glass. Reasonable.

If you like nature and serenity, and a little bit of sight-seeing and events (they're having 15-min Russian dance show), this place is good - and it's not a long drive.

It's a place worth staying, to counter some comments. smile.gif The night view is pretty attractive. I'm a beach person and I can tell you that, beach life can be more boring than this place sometimes.

The hot spring no longer be available to the public. It had been closed for renovation since Oct 2011! I m guess some one had privatize that area. The completion of the renovation was dated on 31 Dec 2013.

For Colmar Tropic ale (French Theme Village) + Japanese Garden/Tea House = RM10 or RM12 per person for the entrance fees unless you overnight there then only u receive entrance free pass.

here is a daily shuttle bus provided by Berjaya that runs from Berjaya Times Square, KL to Colmar Tropicale, Berjaya Hills. It runs at 10.00am, 1.00p and 5.00pm. It costs RM35.00/adult and RM30.00/child for a one way transfer. Return transfer rates are RM55.00/adult and RM50.00/child.

I'm planning to go to Bukit Tinggi/Colmar Village this weekend. Does anyone know if it was affected by the floods?
