advertising space is money , is whether you know how to utilize it or not ..
find a company to advertise in their catalog , and make the company PAY your BAND ....that is the payment to your band..since you already have the space for free
this kind of thing , very common want ..usually a band manager knows how to arrange this things ...
music business is not only company pays directly to the band ..
sometimes you need to go through many channels to put food on the table....
if you are playing a MAJOR events like this ..you can approach some attire company ..like Samuel & Kevin or something..to pay your band to wear their clothes on your show..this things are possible too..
you also can use this event to shoot a video of your band , for you to apply for jobs in the future ...use your creativity ..market your band together with the show ...i have seen event bands that distribute free gifts and samples if the audience can guess the song title ..(they are paid to do it obviously) ...the music industry is no more like the 90's ...album+concert+T shirt ..we need to move on ..

in fact we already hav the jewellery fashion show to ask local designer sponsor for the attire, and also official make up and hair style.
due to every time also the same activities during the show, i am thinking another way to attract different party like dancer, or singer or musician to perform only.
not really asking for free, but in return we help to create a platform for somebody would like to perform on stage, and there is advertisement in our official catalogue too, media will come and report, and help the party to hav good portfolio too.
but it sound not good to asking any party here, bcoz the true meaning might be distinguish or twisted.
