Do you have the photo of your PVC valve broken?
Not sure expensive or not as I never did before.

I notice this PVC valve after long exposure on the sun, it will become sensative to pressure change. When you off the main incoming, the presure may have switch high from incoming to low. And that cause the PVC valve leak. The PVC valve on my 3M filter had this problem, it happen right after Sybas water distruption (after 1 year of usage), same for my mom house.

I end up change the PVC vavle to Brass, it cost me around 20+ each, and i need 3. Still no time change my mom units, but temporary I managed to fix it by just turn on, off the valve few time.

Wow, metal piping, sure can last long. But you will die faster.
Just use poly pipe(black pipe) which is more durable than PVC and less reactive than metal pipe. As for your outdoor filter, you can paint it black or cover it.
Have to know that, water supplier will inject chlorine follow their stock. Over inject will cause the water to be lower pH and under inject will result to algae formation.

Is it okie to use ABS pipes for outdoor filter? Coloured ABS pipes to be precise. In term of toxicity etc ?
If not , what is the best pipe type for outdoor filter?

or

b) 3M AP Easy complete at RM 690 with installation

Any idea about the filter replacement cost?

Just a qns, for 3M indoor water filter, is there any way to share for the same indoor filter for two sinks at wet and dry kitchen?
