Just a reminder, i have a few customers who bought alphamax and according to them, the salesmen told them that their media does not require placement. FYI, this is not true as the media inside must be replaced averagely 3-4 years.

when i bought the tap i always ask if the head can detach and for filter use. If you have bigger head, then you will need to change the tap. or you can try to see if you head can detach or not.. if can, most probably will fit the filter.

I just got my alphamax last week Friday, the water is very clear and i will get bubble when i bottled it. Dunno why? haha

It really take time and effort to study other brand water filters, lots of things to learn and i m still learning only. If you really want to convince that epsring is more worth buying than 3M, you will need to do more research and study, convince your customer with facts not price and persistent. It is amazing that there is lot to read about water filter, such as ozone, alkaline, UV light, hard water and etc, giving me headache trying to digest everything smile.gif

From what i know, 3M is using 1 micron and 0.5 micron carbon block while espring is using UV light and 1 micron carbon block. So, 3M is better in terms of filtration and removing contaminants with the 0.5 micron carbon block but espring is better in killing bacteria bcoz of the UV light. However, as our water contains chlorine which is used to kill bacteria, there wont b much bacteria left for the UV light to kill. Moreover, NSF has already certified that 3M is safe to direct drink (standard 42 & 53). I don think the extra RM 1k-2K for the UV light is worthy. Moreover, there is additional cost for replacing the UV light. With our current promotion (3M Indoor + Outdoor filter) is less than RM 2.1k whereby Espring (indoor filter) alone is more than that price.

After comparing 3M with a few common brands, i came up with a few conclusions but will only share the info here once i get some1 knowledgeable to confirm as i do not want to post wrong info here. However, you guys can PM me and we can share our thoughts.
