Anyone used both Coway water filter & eSpring water filter?

What are your thoughts?
*
Coway water filter at university hostel
and eSpring at home.

****Coway****
Pro:
-Have hot/cold water dispenser
Cons:
-RO water (my leg muscle clamp after drinking RO water for few days, only relieved after taking Calcium/Magnesium supplement)
-No water come out when water in tank is low

Because I don't own the filter personally, not much experience

****eSpring****
Pro:
-easy to install, and replace cartridge (can self-service)
-Low power consumption
-Auto-detect when to replace cartridge
-Personally get $ rebate as part of own sale XD
Cons:
-No hot/cold water dispenser built-in

So far so good

--Both--
-need electric supply
-acceptable water taste

PM if you need assistance/more info. for eSpring

espring is for indoor direct from water paip can drink one..

3m filter there are outdoor and indoor one..depend on our friend...

my outdoor list got waterco /3m outdoor filter , it look like those sand filter which w/o maintenance is way $$$ then 3m outdoor , anyone experience on this ?
*
I think what you mean is the outdoor water filter that can be backwashed instead of require the help of technician to maintain.

This type of filter is more expensive but more convenient, do backwash yourself once-a-while, instead of need to do appointment with technician to maintain etc.. Some more, some technician might charge you everytime, might result in similar or even more total expenditure.

p/s Amway sell outdoor water filter too (1 model only), but it's quite $$ which people don't usually use it if they already have indoor filter like eSpring, but good for prolong the lifetime of indoor water filter cartridge if the water of pipe really contain many large particles

But it's competitor from my standpoint, and I'm not familiar with the models la.

You shouldn't. Kidney problem people only can take pure water like RO/Distilled. I think you should aware of this.
*
Thank you for your reminder, yes drinking pure water reduce burden of the kidney. What I actually don't like is the not-so-true claim of sellers like "RO water is good for health", "the amount of minerals in water is actually low that it doesn't make a difference" etc. These statements are not completely false, but neither true (some controversy here) ; however taught to many sellers until they thought the statements are completely true.

hi guys
recently my elken RO water filter broke down so im surveying a new 1 now
prefer indoor juz need to filter room temperature water
and any sifu noe whats the different between RO water and those alkaline water, which 1 better for everyday usage, any brands suggested?
*
If really need to choose between RO and alkaline, I'll go for RO. In short:
RO: really able to filter contaminants esp. the inorganics, the controversy is that minerals eg. calcium and iron are also filtered away from the water
Alkaline: no proven health benefits & expensive, the manufacturer might focus on the "alkaline" part and neglect the "filter" part (so it might just simple and low cost filter technology, however become expensive because the "alkaline" part)

For suggested brand... I sell eSpring - the carbon-UV filter type, it's carbon filter to remove impurities, then use UV to kill bacteria & viruses.

Most product you buy this month get a 6% GST FREE, promo end this month. LOL laugh.gif
*
That's true, especially for the things which cost thousands ringgit, the extra amount needed to be paid become significant. That's why I suggest people who really want to buy appliances buy them in this month if possible.. But don't make hassle decision anyway, still got ~1 week from now to make good consideration.

p/s eSpring really got promotion this month la blush.gif

any espring user know how much is the maintenance cost for the filter ?
*
Only need replace cartridge (got indicator for cartridge life) once around 1 year or filtered 5000 litres,

cartridge distributor price is RM509 (after GST RM539.55). Depend on your distributor, might charge you retail price RM636 (after GST RM674.15).

PM me if you have any question.
