Sometimes the way to lug a washing machine in is by turning it on a side that will fit the doorway so long as it doesn't exceed the width of the door. Be mindful also if the door cannot open beyond 90° angle in which case there's the door knob can block the way unless the machine lies on something like a handle-less wheeled cargo trolley like how piano transporters use to move pianos or the handlers skillfully negotiate to avoid the doorknob.

No worries. Just curious, how long was the last machine (what model) used and how did it kaput? Any good features liked, disliked, found useful, hyped but not useful, etc of the old machine?

Sounds like humidity intrusion in the PCB area or the plug connecting at the board side iffy or humidity sensor detected moisture somewhere and doesn't allow turning on under this condition.

The washing room is it enclosed and how humid? Any mechanical ventilation to control humidity? Same space also used for hang drying laundry?

Googling your model turn this out as a result.

Another thing, when it doesn't operate, try using an extension cord or long gang connected to another 13A point elsewhere and connect to that. See if the socket in the washing area could be at fault.
