Anyone with a front loading Samsung or LG with Direct Drive Inverter?

Has yours broken down? If so, how much was repairs?

How is the power consumption?
*
Lg, samsung, electronlux, Pana all very common FL

Power comsumption if never set too high in hot water wouldn't usage higher power as well.

Broken down for all brands to be the same lah

I'm using Electrolux for 6 years, recently it decided to go into grave yard d.....lolx

I have to say Electrolux is very good in cleaning clothes, and no wrinkles, good for washing cotton and "good" clothing..

Electrical shop said Electrolux now a days are from China, no longer that good.. they are recommending Hitachi in stead....

All Sifus, any recommendation? Anyone using Hitachi?
*
Electronlux should made in Thailand lah.

Hitachi should be much more expansive stuff.

Eco Bubble (samsung) or active foam (panasonic) when washing clothes does it use same amount of detergent as non-bubble washing machine?

When washing does it look as if have more suds even when using FL low suds detergent?

I am using mine for the first time - active foam panasonic - and am freaked out seeing the suds. I have used the usual amount of low suds detergent that i used for my old non-bubble WM.

any one have experience to share?

thanks.
*
Mine still using normal Dynamo detergent for indoor used type.

Eco bubble can made more bubble foam for each wash.

If you don't know on warranty, don't spread bullshit.
Inverter or non inverter, most are still giving the same period of warranty, Panasonic are giving 12 years.
Get your facts right first.
*
In the 1st place Pana has doing many research from Korean technology even warranty for motor also 2 yrs extra with active foam too.

He he look like Pana more kiasu already

Ya, i will reduce detergent next wash.

First wash i use my normal amount n there's so much suds though i m using the same low suds brand as b4.

N i rinse 1 more time just to mk sure no detergent left.

What is the model are you using now?

The detergent tray can't fill full?

Anyway, SO wants a TL as with my parents also.

So, LG vs Pana 10-12kgs, which one would you go for? I think LG is that HX12GV one..

Also, can anyone tell me where to get better pricing for them?
*
Get the LG one with hot water wash is much better than Pana empty tank only.

The design and DD motor also help much when high speed on spinning else

Need your expert suggestion:-

My new place is 1 room apartment.. 400+ sqft.
Should I get front load washer & with dryer washing machine, or
get individual front load washer & dryer respectively?
*
If seldon use for drying, then just get separate unit, if consider for usage everyday so go for combo is better.

Combo more advantage on space saving, but not related to energy saving biggrin.gif

Hitachi design most lack of quality control again the China made parts, cheap for low quality then can made more money, except thier direct Japan made products will be last longer than China made.

Dear all,

How is the after sales service of Samsung and Panasonic? I'm kinda looking into either brand's TL, a huge part of my consideration is after sales care.

I've had experienced Panasonic's after sale for fridge and vacuum cleaner, they're quite satisfactory and affordable parts too. Never tried Samsung's, but I always hear people say Korean parts very expensive. Really?

Another thing, my fridge and vacuum cleaners were old models, technology were simple. Nowadays I see all household products so advanced, both TL Samsung and Panasonic got bubble wash, inverter, some got steam, etc etc. That's nice, but I dunno now if Pana can still be cheap to take care sad.gif

At least on paper, I feel Samsung's better, and if after sales service and parts cost similar like Pana, I'm tempted by Samsung.

Thanks is advance smile.gif
*
Panasonic after sales service was efficeint as well, cause in my passed experience for my 34" flat CRT TV no power the technician come to fixed it on site & on the spot.
To be honest Pana no more Japan quality already, except thier direct import model only.

Samsung washer still made in Korea, my WW8000 already 1 yrs plus still ok in good condition as well
