washer dryer is not very good at drying.

my parents bought an electrolux washer dryer and after two hours of drying mode, it's still not dry.

now we hang all the clothes and didnt bother with the dryer anymore
*
My washing machine and dryer are both electrolux. standalone type for both. Works very well. Washing machine is powerful enough to clean the clothes. My heat pump dryer is also good to dry the clothes.

yup shouldn't bought the two in one washer and dryer..

stand alone should be fine
*
yes, i am using this 9kg heat pump dryer from electrolux. performance is superb, the drying effect is even better than sun dry.
very power saving also due to heat pump technology. thumbsup.gif

no regrets.

my washer is also 10kg front load. i love the performance of electrolux front load washer also, very cheap, and very detergent saving too.

how much is the dryer? usually one round of laundry takes how long to dry?
*
i bought about rm4k or rm4.2k (cannot remember the exact price but around there).
retail price is higher than this. (RM5499)

Attached Image

drying time is about the same as washing time for cotton mode.

about 3hour++ if u select the dryness to be the maximum.

if select mixed mode etc will be shorter. or if u select lower dryness will be shorter also.

but this dryer is smart enough that it comes with sensor to detect the dryness of clothes. so it will stop when it dries also.

yeah same here...only thing is persil liquid hard to get cheap.
only place i found cheap is Lulu mall when have promo.

how long your cotton mode takes to wash?
*
normally i buy a few during promo time. but yes, very hardly it gets promo. i think main reason is clear that there are less ppl using this brand of detergent.

the cheapest i can find during promo is about rm20, normal day rm22.

on washer, if i choose cotton mode, it will show 3hours++ of washing time. that's the maximum time it takes for longest time duration.

but if the clothes are lesser, the time will reduce.

heard/surveyed that this is equally good as Persil?

http://uiccp.com/product/spinmatic-low-suds-pwd/

any1 used before?
*
no le. never try before.

and not commonly see in supermarket also.

so far i only see 'top' brand one. but i had tried it before, it is very bad actually, still quite a lot of sud, can cause damage to the washing machine.

serious? i didn't compare any other brand, coz i only use TOP this particular brand:

https://www.jayagrocer.com/product?variant_id=8012

just bought the SPIN, once finished off with TOP, then will try the SPIN and see..

but how would u judge less suds = low suds?
*
by eyes lo.

when u wash the clothes u can tell how roughly how subs generated during washing. Top one has certainly more subs than percil for sure.

there was one time i used the top one, subs overflew out from the machine. after that, i stop using it, because it can damage the machine.

Are you buying the wrong 1?

Been using TOP low sud for many yrs.
*
confirmed no. it is the dark green color bottle.

that's my personal experience though.

initially i tot of switching to it to save cost, but apparently now i switched back for piece of mind.

in any case, persil is the 'official' brand of detergent that electrolux recommends for their washers. so it should be the safest brand to use no matter how.

electrolux SG also recommends SPIN, so should not be wrong  biggrin.gif

http://www.electrolux.com.sg/products_old/laundry-room/spin/
*
Ic. Should be ok. Since it has been 'certified' by eletrolux itself.

Personally I am happy with the washing effect of persil one.

Have been using since almost 3 years ago when I first use the front load electrolux washing machine.

Besides, I am very very happy with electrolux front load washer, as it washes my clothes super clean and with the 1400rpm spin, my clothes can really minimum water after the wash. So when I put in my dryer to dry, with the maximum dryness selected. Even for cotton standard drying cycle is 3Hour++. It usually takes merely one hour+ to finish drying if the clothes are not fully loaded.

Planning to get separate washer and dryer. Currently looking at Electrolux Washer EWF7525EQWA and Electrolux Dryer EDP2074PDW. Any reviews for these model or other similar priced recommendation?
*
if you got budget, can consider this model. heat pump type. more energy saving.

i am using it for 3 years. so far so good.

Exactly!!!! I bought my Electrolux washer and the dryer from best denki and only cost me RM3000ish (Promo50%off) Lol don’t be jealous.

LG 5K++ and got a cr*p.. what a waste.. And this is not the first time.
*
Haha won't be jealous at all, becos during promo time indeed it is possible to get such deals.

Electrolux also has bundled deal for washer + dryer sometimes. The price varies depending on the model u get also as well as the capacity. Haha.

This is why I said I never buy lxxxy gxxds brand hahaha.

biggrin.gif biggrin.gif sadly we got limited space in our small home. If not I’ll get my baby separated washer and dryer like these oso. No choice than get him washer+dryer combo.
*
Haha. actually combo type is good also. save space and no need to remove the clothes after wash like stand-alone one.

Using Electrolux 10kg front load washing machine and 9kg heat pump dryer for more than 8 years. The washing is so clean and the machine is still going strong. No issue.
