good to buy a washing machine with hot water function, very helpful when needing it to kill germs.

Appreciate if someone can share the experience on Panasonic heat pump dryer-washer combo (na-vx93gl or newer). May plan to get one...

So far my standalone washer and dryer are working fine after 2 years.

how much is the price for this bro? ive never seen in during my survey in shops or online

Online shows na-vx93gl rm6k+, while the newer model is rm4.6k range, budget <rm5k if buy from shop. Expecting base components the same with appearance and minor features update from old to new model.

Did you search this thread with the keyword of NA-VX93GL? Not all users or buyers automatically are on the forum or any forum which is a given. There's a newer Panasonic washer dryer heat pump model out it seems. The older one seems to be discontinued.

I know there is newer model... just hope to know whether there is any component flaw for Panasonic combo... also to survey special discount for end of life model... (from shop)

Panasonic quite aggressively kaizen their line models (on its looks at least) every year or 18-24 months. Since 2009 introduction of their 7kg water efficient tilt drum front load, there's already 7 iterations on top of their FL design. Their washer dryer combo is more in the size of a heavy top load dimension.

Thanks for the info bro wink.gif
Most likely to get the newer model as the shop quoted similar price as online. (don't know why...)

Just helping out. For the NA-V93GL model's usage you may ask wesleycjh for feedback.

These may not apply to the washer dryer but it's worth mentioning to even out one's consideration of the brand's FL. One nagging trend years back in this forum and others are feedback on their 8kg FL after 3 years which concerns a leak that develop inside that the internal wet sensor detects (error code H43). The resolution so far which is by the technician opening it up and wiping the wet area and its sensor dry. This could be earlier batches which later reiteration may have resolved.

Motherboard konk could be exposure to very high humid environment where there's a large temperature gradient day and night such that metal cools faster causing condensation. You can imagine a stainless steel kitchen sink sweating after a hot water wash and then left to cool overnight. If the sink cabinet have no louvre to allow two way air flow, the underside of the kitchen sink will sweat. FL require leaving the door ajar but if the environment is humid, an extractor fan in that laundry area will greatly help reduce this problem. A likely pre-condition in landed homes that will cause an eventual FL Mb failure is those are fully closed up at their back yard. I have been to a couple of homes that reclaimed their back yard through extension that their downstairs toilet perpetually 'sweats'. The 10 kg at least is protected with a separate condensation resistant cage. At any rate all washers regardless of brands will fail when exposed long enough like this not just Panasonic.

Way back in 2012 I was considering their value for money 10kg FL as a replacement but for one flaw IMHO which I hope they will correct in future iterations. It uses a 3D sensor to detect and prevent load imbalance and if it persists stops spinning and beeps U13 error code. Resolution is by removing some items to prevent spinning in damaging zone. That means that it's not able to wash a full load to completion due to this. Certain light load laundry combo like floor mat and hand towels may cause it. Other brands like Samsung with VRT (ball bearings) and Hitachi Big Drum 4ply liquid load balancer actively counteracts the damaging spin moment. Otherwise the 10 kg is a compelling product at its price point. Hopefully the eco bubble makes its way in there too which makes it a hard proposition to beat if washing time comes down to even 45 minutes for full load.

Here is an interesting thread of a user who had his China made one last 7 years but replaced it with another Pana but apparently OEM from Gorenjé, a Slovenian white goods manufacturer.

could be true, as my panasonic washer 10kg seems to face imbalance load challenge more frequent compare to the other electrolux.
ideally I'm looking electrolux combo with heat pump dryer, but not available in malaysia. read user review on samsung (in aus) about hard to clean filter... so end up sticking to what i know best sweat.gif
